chapter 11

    I finish up my breakfast. I grab my shoes.  I grab the door handle when I feel a tap on my shoulder.I turn around and see thats its Ben."Heres a map to their house. Good luck in the forest."he says."Wait what do you mean'good luck'?"i ask.  He just snickers and backs up into the shadows.  I grab the door handle again when I hear someone say"Hey wait up!"I say a very annoyed"What!?"  I turn around but soften when I see that it's Enderlox.

He looks at me and looks suddenly shy. "Could I come with you?  I know this forest and I dont exactly trust Bens map." he says shly. "Sure!"I say.  We start to walk in the forest.  It may have been the start of spring and winter was just ending but this forest looked like it was in late autum.  Fall is my favorite time of year.  Im not going to lie if it wasnt that I was going to someones house I would say this is the perfect place for a date.

"Hey could I see the map?"Enderlox asks.  I hand him the map and our hands brush eachothers.  I pull back suddenly not sure of the feeling I got. It wasnt pain or anything but it was like sparks.  It makes me wonder if he felt it.  In all my thinking I relize that we have been really quite.  It was a very uncomfortable feeling.

I see a house.  We must be here.  It wasnt run down but it wasnt like the manison.  It was a nice house though.  We are standing at the door looking at eachother for whose is going to knock."I guess Ill do it."I say.  I knock weakly three times.  I hear someone on the other side if the door.  Suddenly they say"Listen we dont want any Girl Scout Cookies!"  "Ummmmm we're not selling cookies." I say."Bull thats what you all say."  I hear him walk away from the door.  I pound on the door harder.  I hit it hard enough that it shakes the door."Listen its us Enderlox and Rebbeca!"I yell.

Suddenly the door swings open and Scott is standing there and says with a smile"Well why didnt you say so? Come on in!"  He moved so we can enter the room.  Once inside you can feel the temperature drop. It must have been due to Scott because I looked at the door knob and there was a thin coat of frost.

Scott leads use to the living room.  It looked so much lighter than on the outside. Enderlox and I sit on the couch then Mitch enters the room."Oh hey guys what brings you here?" Before Enderlox can answer Scott is back in the room."OK before we get into that lets get settled." Scott says.  They sit on the couch across from us.  In fact they sit rather close to eachother.

"So what brings you here?"Mitch asks again."Well we want to know why you guys were at the cafe yesterday and attacked those guys?"Enderlox asks. Mitch and Scott look at each other like they are thinking about it.  "Ok well it all started a while ago.  Kristie was in a bit of a money trouble.  Well .......ok all of us were in trouble but she was in the worst." Mitch starts."We were falling behind on the house so she told us that she would take care of it.  It turns out that she took out a loan from these two shady guys.  She doesnt remeber what thier names were.  Well she couldnt pay back the loan.  They kept raising the interst so we couldnt keep up.  They started giving us threats and they ended up kidnapping her and said we wouldnt get her back until we paid it off. Instead we fought and thats where you guys come in." Scott says.  They look at eachother and Mitch grabs a hold of Scotts hand.  I relize that the look they were giving eachother.  It was love. 

"Please dont be mad at her she was only trying to help."Mitch says worried."Wait why do you guys want to know?"  I look at Enderlox and I whisper to him"Should we tell them?" "Yeah I get the feeling they are connected."Enderlox whispers back.  I look back at Scott and Mitch and say"Well you see Bigby,Snow ,and us two found the head of a girl. She wouldnt tell us who she worked for but it could be the two that Kristie got the loan from.  That could have been her body we found." Mitch hops up from the couch a shouts"WHAT?!" He starts to pace. "How could they?! Those sick monsters! I swear if they try to touch Scott or anyone else I will kill who ever this person is!" Mitchs nails are starting to grow and his eyes are changing colors.  Scott hops off the couch and calmly walks over to Mitch."Mitch nothing is going to touch us ok? Bigby knows whats he doing."He hugs Mitch and instantly Mitch instantly hugs him back.  He starts to calm down."Im sorry I didnt mean to freak out."

"I think we should see Bigby and tell him what you have told us.  We will be back ok?"Enderlox says. We stand up and head for the door.  As we walk back I look back and see Scott and Mitch waving with Scotts arm around Mitchs waist."Bye Guys!" We wave back to them.  Once we were a little bit away from them I say"Arent they a cute couple?"  Enderlox looks at me and says"Yeah I geuss but I wont like stalk them."  I chuckle and push him playfully "Hey I am not a stalker!"I say. Suddenly a cold breeze makes me cold and I shiver."Hey are you cold?"Enderlox asks. "Yeah."I say.

"Well I dont have a coat to give you sorry." "Then why did you ask?" "Its the nice thing to do!" He replys.  Suddenly I feel his arm snake around my waist to pull me close.  I would have pulled away but I cold so I snuggled closer. "Hey Enderlox can I ask you a question?" "You just did." "No im serious.Its about last night.  I know we ......we......kissed.  I just dont want things to be weird with us." "Dont worry I wont make this weird but what does that make us?" "I dont think it makes us a couple just ......I dont know it makes us something. We will find out though dont worry."I say."We better get to Bigby."Enderlox says.
