"Hahhhhh, hungryyyyy," Elise whined as they walked through the festival. The students were allowed to roam around the stalls and such to enjoy the festivities as long as they didn't leave the campus and came back on time. "Look at all the food you guys!" She said to Bakugou and Shoji. "I wonder if I can find Lucas and Mentor here..."

Bakugou shrugged. Suddenly he paused and said, "Gotta go do something, don't wait for me."

Elise nodded. She turned to Shoji and said, "Mezo, you can go ahead to the cafeteria, I'm going to try and find Lucas and Mentor to talk to them."

"Be careful then. Don't take too long," Shoji said. The male split off from and vanished into the crowd.

Elise scanned the group of people. It was quite difficult to find two black-haired males in the chaos of the festival.

Do you see them?

Unfortunately not.

Elise sighed. At this rate, she would have to head over to the cafeteria before time ran out. Someone tapped her shoulder and she prickled. "Excuse me, dear!"

"Y-Yes ma'am?" It was the woman from this morning, back again with a smile on her face. Elise couldn't help but squint at the woman, trying to pick out the reason why she was uncomfortably familiar. Blonde hair, pink lips... brown eyes.

"I must say, you've been doing an absolutely stellar job in the festival so far!" The words had a sickly sweet tone to it. "With such an unusual quirk."

Elise was sweating, the close proximity with this woman making her on edge. "O-Oh! Thank you so much!"

Let's leave.

The woman tilted her head and touched her face. "Is something wrong with my face?" She asked.

"No! Nonono! I have to go to the cafeteria before the hour is up, I'm sorry but I have to go." Elise shakily grinned and fled away from the woman. It was in her thoughts as she made her way to the cafeteria, it was in her thoughts as she waited in line for her lunch, and as she met up with Shoji with her food.

Let's not worry about this too much. But I do agree with you that something is off about that woman.

Her thoughts were interrupted by Bakugou's arrival. A small pastry box dropped onto the table in front of Elise and she jumped. Bakugou sat down with his food and another plastic container at Shoji. "Here," he grunted. "Sugar for the Short Shit and some takoyaki for you."

"Oh! Thank you Katsuki! You didn't need to!" Elise grinned and looked at the little box. A sponge cake roll sat next to a still-warm taiyaki. She remembered lamenting to her friends about not having money to visit the vendors selling these bean-filled fish-shaped cakes earlier.

Bakugou waved his hand dismissively. "Finish your ramen before you eat them, idiot." He pointed two fingers at them and said, "Think of this as a thank you. You two better not speak a word of this."

Shoji nodded. "Not a word will be heard."

"Okay, Katsuki!" Elise beamed. "Thank you so much for the cakes!"

"Sh-Shut up! I told you to be quiet! Do you want everyone to hear!?!?"

"S-Sorry!"

The rest of the lunch was spent with them bantering back and forth, sharing lighthearted commentary and musing about the next portion of the festival. Elise was grateful that they found a secluded spot to eat, as it allowed her and her friends to pass lunch without any unwanted interruptions. Now the three were making their way back to the center of the auditorium with the rest of the other students.
