Finding a balance

Basil finished eating as Kelkian lounged back on the bed. He set the plate aside to take down in the morning, too lazy to do it now. He bites his lip feeling more excited about his arrangement with Kelkian, even if it means complications with Gram. He slides on top of Kelkian straddling him playfully making his fiancé's eyes sparkle up at him. "Well hello there." He practically purrs. Basil smiles and tugs Kelkian's shirt off feeling up his body exploratorily.

"So you can use magic right?" Basil asks taking his hands and interweaving their fingers together. The sea-green eyes looking up at him shine with interest and enjoyment.

"Yes... you will be able to once you turn eighteen too. Only less than a month away my love. Are you excited?" Kelkian grins knowingly. Basil nods blushing slightly

"Don't you have school or to go home?" Basil sounded a little sad but was mostly worried about keeping him too long. Kelkian merely shakes his head grinning.

"I'm eighteen and allowed to do what I want. I was homeschooled and I graduated a year early. The past summer I've spent backpacking across Europe. I only just got back... I couldn't wait another month to see my little viper." Kelkian smiles playfully tugging him down to kiss, slow and warm.

"Stay the night?" Basil asked before he even realized the words had left his mouth. His fiancé only nods and kisses down his jaw to his neck, slow and sensually, less lustful than earlier. His hands slide into Basil's still unbutton pajama top and feel up his sides and hips as he pulls moans from Basil's throat with his tongue and teeth. He takes the time to roll them over and sit up.

"I hate to sound like a broken record but what does Gram have that I don't? Why can't you just be mine my love. I've wanted you to myself since we were little." Kelkian's jealousy and insecurity were showing again.

"I missed you Kelk. I was pretty lonely without you until Gram, Trisha, and Becky." Basil shrugs. "I know what I'm feeling for you but I can't help how I feel about Gram either. I really don't like you two fighting over me. Please give a rest. I'm here with you now, can't we just enjoy that right now, love?" It was the first time Basil called Kelkian "love" and it didn't go unnoticed. Basil tugged the teal ribbon holding up Kelkian's hair in a pony tail out and let his hair fall in ebony curtains around his snow-white skin. He tucked the right side behind his ear and smiles. "You're so handsome Kelk... Stay with me tonight... I'll even tell you a secret." Basil lifts up onto his elbows nuzzling their cheeks together brushing his ear with his nose. "I'm happy to be your fiancé Kelk..." Basil nibbles his earlobe and lays back smirking at the blush that spread across Kelkian's face.

"You're teasing me aren't you?" He groaned light sucking in his bottom lip. Basil shakes his head and Kelkian's eyes, expressive as ever are warm like a refreshing lagoon. He leans down and kisses Basil passionately. "I want you to be all mine Basil. Please let me claim you..." He begs as his lips trail along his throat. Basil contemplates it before shaking his head again making Kelkian sit up straight and sigh. "Alright... just promise me you'll let me be your first." He runs a hand through Basil's platinum tousled locks.

"Alright. I promise I'll let you be my first... so long as you promise you won't stop me from being with Gram too." Kelkian seems to weigh Basil's words before nodding getting up and starting to strip down to his boxer briefs.

"Let's get to sleep my love." Kelkian crawls under the covers and Basil joins him, the two curling up with Basil being the small spoon and Kelkian being the big spoon.

The crisp early fall morning came all two soon and Basil nearly threw his alarm clock out the window. He was so comfortable he didn't want to get up. With a heavy sigh he pulled out of Kelkian's grasp and went to dress for the day. As he was brushing his teeth Kelkian came up behind him and smiled in the mirror. "Morning my love."

"Morning." Basil rinsed his mouth and spit before turning to find Kelkian wearing some of his clothes. He bit his lip not wanting to complain so he tip toed downstairs with him. They grabbed his keys and book bag before heading out to the car. Kelkian went to sit in the front but Basil stopped him. "Gram sits up front since you spent the night. Fair is fair." Basil grinned and Kelkian grumbled about the thick headed shackled but did as told crawling into the back seat. They drove the couple blocks past suburbia to get to the coffee shop where the girls and Gram were waiting. Gram sits up front smiling as the girls sandwich Kelkian. Trisha grins.

"Who is this hottie?" Trisha says feeling up Kelkian's arm as Becky does the same. Immediately Kelkian looks uncomfortable and Gram laughs.

"I'm Basil's Fiancé." He replies making the girls gasp.

"You've been engaged and dating, and you didn't tell us! Oh Basil I definitely approve... sorry Gram." Trisha grimaces at Grams glowering. He turns his attention to Basil.

"Yeah what is this whole fiancé business?" Gram asks curious and obviously unhappy about it. Basil weighs his options before locking eyes with Kelkian in the rearview mirror.

"It's an arranged marriage between us. I only found out yesterday I had no say in the matter." Basil sees the hurt in Kelkian's eyes but doesn't apologize either. Gram seems to perk up at this until he sees Basil's neck.

"Is that a hickey?" Gram asks surprised and Basil covers it with his hand blushing.

"No... maybe?" Basil bites his lip as they park in the school parking lot.

"Basil, can I talk to you... alone?" Gram asks and Basil nods handing his keys to Kelkian as the students all get out.

"Kelk, be back by two thirty alright?" Basil smiles at him and he nods. Kelkian drives out of the parking lot alone and the girls move ahead to give the two some privacy as Basil and Gram duck behind the back of the school where no one can see them. "You wanted to talk?" Basil looks up at Gram who sighs.

"So are you not coming to the game Sunday?" Gram sounded sad. Basil looked confused tilting Gram's head up to meet his eyes.

"Of course I'm going to the game. I wouldn't miss it for anything. Why? Is this because of Kelkian?" Basil sighed and Gram nodded searching his eyes with his honey brown ones.

"I sort of asked you to come as... a date." Gram shifts nervously.

"I know Gram. I'm still going. It's still a date. Kelkian doesn't change anything between us. I promise... it just means you two will have to learn to share, I think. "Basil shrugs. Gram smiles more and nods.

"Can I kiss you?" He asks hopefully and Basil pulls him in by the face kissing him sweetly and lovingly, letting their kiss deepen till tongues dance in the mix leaving his lips bruised as Gram moves to the other side of his neck that Kelkian marked and finds his pulse point leaving a bigger hickey than Kelkian's. Basil moans running his hands through his honey brown hair. Gram kept going devouring his neck like a sumptuous feast before the bell rang. Gram startled and grabbed Basil's hand locking their fingers together and leading him to class quickly. Gram smiled the entire first period unable to keep his hands to himself wanting to touch and feel Basil, even pinching his ass as he went to get up to leave. Basil blushes and heads to his next class.
