"Let's see how much everyone has been paying attention,"
Professor Moody said in Defense Against the Dark Arts. "What is the difference between a ghost, and an inferi?"
Instantly, Lilly shot her hand up into the air as high as she could
"Weasley. Weasley! Pay attention! You weren't paying attention, were you? What is the difference between a ghost and an inferi?"
"Well Professor," Fred said "you were right. I wasn't paying attention, but it looks like Thornwall is."
"Very well. Miss Thornwall?" Moody said.
"Thank you sir, the difference, is that an inferi is a dead body enchanted to do a dark wizard's bidding, and a ghost is a transparent smoke-like body left behind from a wizard."
"Yes Thornwall!" said Moody. "Five points to Hufflepuff." Me and Lilly looked at each other smiling.

When class ended, Moody said, "I want two feet of parchment of how one becomes a ghost, and how to enchant a body into an inferi."

When I walked out of class with Lilly one of the sixth year Slytherins went up to us and said to Lilly, "Hey Thornwall, I overheard Mc Gonagall and Moody say that they think you're too smart for school, " Lilly beamed.

"Thanks!" She replied.
"So why don't they just expel you!" The Slytherin girl laughed at that, "honestly I think you're an insufferable know it all, and a filthy mudblood!" Luckily Fred and George heard her, so George walked up to the girl and said,
"Hey! You know what I think? I think you're a bully and a prat, and you shouldn't say the "M" word to anyone!"
"Oh yeah?" The girl said, "and what are you going to do about it Weasley?" The girl flipped us off, and then started walking away laughing.
"Oh you're definitely going to regret that." I muttered. George turned around to look at us. Tears were running down Lilly's cheeks.
"Hey, hey hey hey hey!" George said, "it's alright, you'll be okay."
"It's true!" Lilly said sobbing, "I am a-a-a mudblood!"
"Lilly no." I said. "You're not a mudblood, and anyone who dares to say you are, is dead to me. Alright?"
"Al-alright." Lilly replied, still sobbing.
"Hey, is she going to be good?" George asked me,
"Yeah she'll be fine. Thanks for doing that, I appreciate it."
"Anytime."
Lilly and I said one last, "Thanks" before heading down to dinner. Lilly calmed down, but there were still some tears running down her cheeks.
"Hey!" I said, "how 'bout I go get Hermione and a few other friends, and see if they're free the next Hogsmede weekend, that way all us girls can have a day out together!"
"Oh my god!" Lilly replied, no more tears coming out, "That sounds so fun!"
"Okay, I'll get Hermione, Ginny, Lavender, Padma, Luna, and Pavarti. Sound good?"
"Great!" Lilly replied, "and I'll round some of them up too if you'd like."
"Yes! Okay, this weekend on Saturday, then we can have a sleepover to Sunday, and then go again to Hogsmede!"
"That sounds so much fun!"
"Okay, I'll go get Hermione and the Griffindors now, and you get Padma and Luna?" I asked.
"Yep! See you in the common room?"
"See you in the common room Lilly."
