A/N: I am so sorry, I fell asleep halfway through the marathon. So unfortunately, I didn't get to break my record. Six updates, that's all you get. However, for those of you who told me you wanted to read other fanfics by me too, I have something for you in the note at the end. Please comment as you read <3 It makes my day.

HARRY:

Strumming the guitar once, I let out a sigh. Even after full night’s sleep, I still couldn’t get rid of the annoyance inside of me. I was just so… angry.

Most of all, I wanted to call Cami, simply to hear her voice. I wanted to warn her, but at the same time, I didn’t want to spook her. What were the chances of Edward finding her anyway? Not to mention, we weren’t even sure if he left the country.

Niall walked out of his room, rubbing his eyes. “You’re up way too early, mate.”

“Couldn’t sleep.” I ran my fingers over the strings once more, not caring that the sound, it made, was absolutely horrendous.

He winced. “Whoa. Dude. Careful, I’m barely awake yet.”

“I can’t just sit here and do nothing,” I said and placed the guitar in the stand beside me.

“We went over that yesterday,” Niall said.

I just grumbled a response, waving at him dismissively. After everything that happened yesterday, I needed to get some air. As much as I had missed my family, it pained me to be that close to them and knowing what they all had done. Maybe it was just me over-reacting, but I couldn’t sleep at home. Instead, I had called up Niall, asking if there was any chance he was staying in London at the time.

Lucky for me, he’d just arrived for the promotional event that would happen later today, and we met up downtown. At first, I’d wanted to simply drink everything away, but Niall had refused to let me go near alcohol in my current state.

Hypocrite… I thought, but instantly regretted it. Instead of letting me drink, Niall had talked to me all evening, listening to everything.

“I just can’t believe Zayn lied too,” Niall said as he came back with a bowl of cereal in his hands. “Tessa must have something on him.”

I shrugged. “Does it really matter? He lied.”

“He was also responsible for you seeing her again, though.”

Of course, I knew that too. Which was the only reason I hadn’t called and yelled at him and Terry. Both of them had been pushing me to do something, but my own stubbornness had been in the way. Of course, if I had known the truth, none of that would have happened. That wasn’t his fault alone, though.

“Can’t you call her or something?”

I looked up at Niall. Shaking my head, I rose from the chair. “It’s in the middle of the night over there. I have to wait until later.”

“Don’t forget that party-dinner thing tonight.” Niall crunched on his cereal. “It’s important you show up. There are rumors going around that you’re quitting. Our agents are flipping out.”

“Don’t remind me.” I groaned. I’d barely set foot in England before I’d been hijacked to several publicity stunts. Of course, Zayn wasn’t here, but apparently I was the wildcard—I was the only one with a reason to leave, they said.

It was bullocks. Just because I wanted some time off to focus on my relationship… It didn’t mean I was going to leave everything behind.

“Louis is coming over here before we go, maybe he’ll cheer you up,” Niall said and left with his bowl.

I felt sorry for the guy. Here he was trying to help me, but I was just grouchy towards him. Apparently, he hadn’t planned to stay in and talk yesterday, but he still did just that because he was that kind of guy.

Walking after him into the kitchen, I leaned against the doorframe. “Sorry, man,” I said. “I don’t mean to be such a bummer.”

“It’s alright,” he said and grabbed a glass of water. “Can’t say I can relate, but it’s pretty evident that it’s not easy being you right now.”

“Thanks,” I said.

“No problem. You should get something to eat. It’ll help pass the time until you can talk to Cami again. Then, if you’re up for it, we can jam a bit later?”

“Sounds like a plan.” I nodded and sent him a weak smile. He was right, after all. I could sit around here and be as grouchy as I wanted to, but it wouldn’t change anything. It was better to get the best of it.

A/N: So, that's it. Six out Ten for the marathon. I don't think that's so bad. It could have been worse. It was fun though, and I might do another one at some other time.

However, I'm not entirely done writing for today. Right after I upload this, I'm going to work on the Prologue for my new story "Darkness". The "Before You Read", Description and Cover is already uploaded, so go to my profile and take a look maybe? It would mean so much to me.

Don't worry. The second story doesn't mean that I'm going to abandon this one. I plan to update "Darkness" like... Once a week or something. So there's plenty of time to write Play still. As long as you keep supporting, I keep writing :)

It's not a coincidence that I chose to do Darkness now, though. I've spent over half a year on this series now, and I can't explain how much your support means to me. However, I have so many other stories in my head, and while I've enjoyed Play, it's becoming harder and harder to plan it. I have approximately half of the story line with Edward and Ludmilla sub-plots planned, but after that, I'm at a complete loss on what to do. I figured that a second story might spark some ideas.

As I said, it would mean SO MUCH to me, if you added it to your libraries and checked out the prologue (Which will be uploaded soon). If you like Cut and Play and my writing, I'm sure you'll enjoy "Darkness" too. :)

Give this a vote, for a failed, but still good marathon, maybe? And comment your thoughts and the likes below.
