Chapter 15: The Real Thing

Annabeth's POV

Percy and i are going back to work. We've said our good bye's earlier at camp, even Travis and Connor Stoll gave their prank earlier at us. They actually removed the wheels of Percy's car. LITERALLY. THEY TOOK IT.

So we kind of have to ask for help from the Hephaestus cabin for that. "So, where should i drop you off?" Percy asked as he was driving.

"My apartment please." I said and looked out of the window.

I was surprised that he took my hand and puts it in his lap. "Can you.....relax?" He quietly says and i almost couldn't hear it. "I'm relax." I said and i felt him held my hand tighter.

"You are not Annabeth. And you really suck at lying. So if you are worried about Caroline being hurt about this," he points at the both of us, then continued. "i think she won't be mad at you. She knew that we broke up before right? She should know that having a crush on your ex boyfriend--well your ex boyfriend before--isn't actually a good thing. And she should understand you if she is really a true friend, y'know?"

"I know Percy. But still, i can't help but wonder if she'll freak out. Then she'll just won't be my friend." I said and i can't help to tear a little.

I felt the car stopped and saw that we were at my apartment already.
"Look Annabeth, i know it will be hard. But you know i can't keep our relationship a secret. Right?"

"I know. I'll just tell her later at the set." I said and got my bag.

"See you later wise girl." He said and kissed my cheek. I can't help but smile that we are together now. "I love you." I replied and gave him a peck on the cheek too. He squeezed my hand and i let go.

I went to my apartment door and entered it.

Gods it feels great to be home. I hope everything's good later on.

Percy's POV

Should i like tell Jake that Annabeth and i are back together now so he could you know, back off?

Cause i know were like co-actors and friends but he still might think that Annabeth's available? Right?

Okay here we go again. This relationship drama just like when we were in high school. So, i think i just need to tell him. Yeah? Okay.

As i got to my apartment, i called Jake to meet me at a coffee shop near the set so we could just both get there in time.

I changed into some dark blue khaki shorts, an a sea green shirt. I got my car keys and went to the coffee shop. "Yo man."Jake greets as i entered the shop.

"Hey dude. I, uh need to tell you something." I said as we sat on a table near the glass window.

"Yeah sure man, but first let's take our order." He said and motioned his hand to a waitress to take our order. After that we wait for minutes until they arrive.

"So...what do you want to talk about?" He asked while sipping his frappe.

"Oh right. I was just going to tell you, uhm. That,--" i was cut off by Jason.

"Hey Care! Over here!" Jason yelled as Caroline entered the shop and walked towards us. "Hey guys. So! What did i miss?" She said and sat beside Jake. But the weirdest thing was, i saw them intertwined their hands under the table.

"Nothing much. Percy was just about to say something. But before that, we have actually something to tell you." Jason said. I arched my brow.

"We? What is it?"i asked confused by the minute.

"We, i mean me and Caroline. We-uh. We're....." He stammers, Caroline sighed and rolled her eyes.

"We're dating." She said and batters her eyes like she was in love.

And my jaw open's wide. My eyes were tempting to pop out of it's sockets.

Annabeth's POV

After showering, i changed into some old dark blue jeans and an old shirt from camp.

I wore my shoes and grab my bag and went out to hail a cab. After 25 minutes i already arrived at the set and some of the staffs are already here. "Hey Annabeth, Percy's looking for you at his dressing room." I gave the Marly, a staff here, a nod.

I went to Percy's dressing room and saw him with out a shirt so i turned around and blushed madly. "Uh, s-sorry" i apologized. "Oh. I didn't heard you come in." He said and i saw him put his shirt on.

"Well, what do you want to talk about?" I asked as i turned around to meet his eyes.

"Uhm, Well......"

"What?" I demand.

"Cartohhienandjakeaeeredauting." Okay, i didn't actually understand what he said.

"What? I can't understand you." I said quite irritated.

He sighed,

"I said.....Caroline and Jake are dating." He drops the bomb and i was the one who blew up.

This chapter is actually kind of weird dunno why? Hahaha. Okay! So there'll be another chapter but a short one i guess. I'm having writers block since all of the ideas i have on my mind right now are the ones for my own real book.

Ugh my mind is so jumbled right now.
