The Life Changing Trip

Chapter 3

* Renee's POV *

"Oh, I forgot. I'm Renee," I tell Grayson as the plane lands.

"Obviously I'm Grayson," He laughs.

The plane lands and as I start to get up, Grayson stops me.

"Can I get your number? You're really cool and sweet," Grayson asks. I feel myself blush again.

"Um. Sure," I open the contact section on my phone and hand it to him without trying to fangirl. 

"I texted myself hey so I have your number," Grayson hands my phone back. 

"Okay, cool," I turn around and walk back to find Hayley waking up.

"Where were you," Hayley asks.

"Oh. The bathroom," I lie.

"Uh huh," Hayley gives me a suspicious look.

"Okay. I will tell you when we get our luggage," I smile.

We walk off the plane and make our way to baggage claim.

"Please tell me," Hayley exclaims.

"So. I met Grayson Dolan on the plane," I smile a big, bright smile.

"You liar! Stop! For real, what happened," Hayley laughs.

"I'm for real," I pull out my phone. I had a text from Grayson saying 'see you tomorrow at magcon!'

I show her the text.

"Ohmygod! Who else was on the plane," She was starting to fangirl.

"Ethan and Reed," I say.

"DID YOU TALK TO THEM TOO?" Hayley yells, people stared.

"No! Shhhhh," I reply.

"Oh," Hayley smiles.

We get the luggage and I saw my Aunt Kathy and my cousin, Megan, standing over by some benches. I walk over and give them both a big hug.

"This is Hayley," I say to them both. They reply with a hello and we exit the airport.

"So we were thinking we could go to the house so you both can unpack and stuff and then maybe walk around the mall or something and then later we can get dinner somewhere," my aunt says.

"Sure, sounds good," I reply back.

She drives and about 30 minutes later, we arrived to their house. They lived on the beach and their house was one of the prettiest houses I have ever seen. It was all white, two story, mansion-like, concrete driveway beach house with a nice pool in the backyard. Whay they need a pool on the beach? I have no idea. Let's just say that they are a rich family. 

My aunt parks her car and we get our things and get out to follow Megan into the house. We follow her up the stair and to a large room.

"You both can stay in here if you want," Megan shows us around the room.

There was two queen sized beds, two nice dressers, a flatscreen tv on the wall, and a balcony overlooking the beach. 

"This is really nice," Hayley states.

"Yea, it really is. Thank you Megan," I say.

"You're welcome! I will be downstairs, so just unpack, put your clothes in the dressers or hand them up, then come down and we can leave to go to the mall," Megan leaves the room.

I unpack my suitcase and fill the dresser drawers like they were my own drawers. I hang up the dresses that I brought. Hayley does the same. We walk down the stairs to get back into the car and go to the mall.

My aunt just let Hayley, Megan and I roam around by ourselves. We ended up walking into Forever 21. I decided to buy a really pretty rhinestone earcuff. There was 7 rhinestones on it, the biggest started near your ear lobe and were smaller up the cartilage area. I also bought a cool looking dragon ear cuff. I bought a classic white crop top and to be funny, I bought a white muscle tee type shirt with the words "Can you not" written on it. 

Hayley bought matching jewelry and different shirts that looked nice. One funny shirt she bought was a baseball tee that said "My unicorn made me do it." 

After looking around in other stores, it was getting late so we decided to just go to dinner. 

"What do you girls what," My aunt asks once we get in the car, "American, Chinese, Japanese?"

"Chinese!" Megan, Hayley and I say at the same time.

"Alright," My aunt starts to drive to a nice chinese restaurant.

After eating, my aunt drives back to the house. Since it was dark, we couldn't go to the beach for saftey reasons so we decided to swim in the pool. The pool's lights changed colors. Basically the colors of red, blue, green, white and purple.

We swam for hours on end and when we get out, we decide on watching a movie.

We go inside and get popcorn and blankets and then pick a movie out on netflix. We pick Think Like a Man Too.
