Noelle had bursted into the Hospital Wing as soon as she heard of the fight by the lake between Black and another kid. She knew it would be too good to be true, that everyone was oddly calm at the fact that her kids shared the same last name of the love of her life and that she was married to said man. It was only a matter of time for it to happen, it also hadn't helped that Sirius had been sighted near Dufftown days prior.

But she could care less about Sirius right now, all she cared in that moment was that there wasn't a scratch on any of her children.

The screech she let out as she saw a beat up Orion and Polaris arm in a sling confirmed otherwise.

She thundered towards them and knelt before her kids who all sat on the same bed. Her right hand feathery reached for Orion's face and, even if he winced because he was in pain, he leant towards her touch. Next she looked at Polaris, who's lips still wobbled slightly, and brought her other hand up to do the same to her. The small girl quickly rested her chubby cheek against her mothers palm, a tear rolling down her cheek as she bit her still trembling lower lip.

"Oh Merlin, who did this?" there was a rage burning in her eyes and she so wanted to tear down the castle and search for whoever did this to her kids. Their reasons were unfounded, her kids had nothing to do with what Sirius was believed to have done.

"Don't worry, mum. The other guy looks worse."

"Good

"Good." she said quickly, ignoring the look Madame Pomfrey was giving her "It's what he deserves for hurting my babies."

Orion blushed, but he didn't care he loved being coddled by his mother. The triplets giggled slightly and Polaris sniffled as she rubbed a fist to her eyes to stop her crying. She hated being this weak and crying over everything even if her mother and siblings told her time and time again that it was perfectly okay to cry and to just be weak sometimes. There wasn't a need for being strong all the time, that could get incredibly exhausting.

"What happened?" Noelle asked with a sigh.

"Just this Gryffindor dude picking a fight with me because of dad. I tried to avoid the fight, you know?" Orion wasn't looking at his mothers eyes, he was playing with his fingers as he recounted the days events "I just told him he didn't know the whole thing and he chose to believe what the Ministry says but then he called you and the triplets something awful and I was so angry I started yelling at him... and then Lara tried to calm me down and the git shoved her to the ground and stepped on her hand and I just... I lost it."

"Orion" he didn't meet her eyes "Orion, baby" he raised his gaze and Noelle saw saddened and hurt eyes. She smiled lightly and kissed his forehead "You did right, okay? Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, yeah?" he nodded as he sniffled into his hand "It's going to get really hard from now on but I need you four to be strong. People will start to doubt you and tell you mean things, but the best you can do is ignore them. Let their words wash over you, because one day they'll be looking like fools and we're going to make sure your father is cleared of his charges. We'll make sure he'll be with us for Christmas and we'll go on vacation together and he'll read you bedtime stories like when you were tiny little things, okay?" she looked at them, really looked at them and she saw that they believed every single one of her words. They were hopeful and had faith in her, and Noelle wasn't one to let down those who believed in her.
