Christmas passed really quickly after that. So did New Years and by January 3rd the new term had began.

Students could only talk about one of two things inside the walls of Hogwarts. Them being Sirius Black and Quidditch.

People were talking about how, for once, they thought that someone other than Slytherin could win. Of course that didn't sit well with the Blacks seeing as they were still very much fought over with Harry, they didn't want him to have something to celebrate.

When Elara and Polaris played against each other it was fun, to say the least. Because both girls saw the game as one of chase, with Elara trying to knock Polaris off her broom while the latter just flew away from her older sister. Even if Hufflepuff lost abysmally against Ravenclaw, Polaris had done her best, she'd been the one to score the most and that had been no easy feat seeing as their chasers were very talented. However, Polaris was upset because of the fact that Cedric had actually let Ravenclaws seeker, Cho Chang, get the snitch. It was incredibly silly to her that he'd become so engrossed in the girl enough to let her catch the snitch when he was but a few centimeters away from it.

If she ever played against someone she liked she would never be like that, she just hoped that whoever liked her wouldn't be as simpleminded as to get distracted by her. Boys were so stupid.

That day was the Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw match and everyone was talking about it, but it wasn't because it was an ordinary match, no. It was more the fact that Harry Potter had a Firebolt, and he would be using it in that game. Roger was worried and that was very clear when the team met up in the Ravenclaw lockers.

"Look, the fact that Potter now has a Firebolt is bad news in itself. But we can't focus on it or we'll really lose the game. Cho, change of plans. Tail Potter at all costs, don't lose him even for a second. The rest do your jobs as planned. Beaters" he turned to Elara and Jonathan who stood as stiff as a board "-knock them off their brooms, hit the Quaffles out of their hands, confuse them and do everything in their power to not make them gain points. They've a talented team this year, but so do we. Now, let's give it our all."

They did give it their all.

But Harry Potter was but a blur in the pitch. Elara and Jonathan were hitting Blugers left and right at the chasers and at Gryffindors seeker, but the Weasley twins were always there to stop any of them from getting hurt which bothered Elara immensely. She only wanted to blow off some steam and what better way to blow it off whilst hitting the cause of her problems? Meanwhile people were more entertained by the fact that, between both teams beaters, they were almost watching a tenis match. Elara only saw a breakthrough when Harry spotted the snitch a third time and, while the twins were distracted by something else, she managed to send a bludger Harry's way. Harry had drawn out his wand as four dementors on... broomsticks? Arrived at the pitch, quickly acting the Patronus as the 'dementors' capes fell off their heads and showed four Slytherins trying to scare Gryffindor seeker.

The whole thing happened in seconds.

Elara hit the bludger Harry's way. The 'dementors' appeared on the pitch. Harry cast the Patronus charm. Harry caught the snitch just as the bluer Elara hit met its mark.

The ball hit Harry on his back and Elara was sure he must've broken some bones, but she couldn't feel guilty. Things like that happened in Quidditch, it happened to her mum so. The boy managed to stay on his broom, tightly clutching both the broom and the snitch as he slowly descended and met the rest of his team who were yelling and making their way to check on the boy. One of their chasers made her way angrily to Elara and she felt her teammates quickly back her up as the stands slowly emptied to meet both teams on the pitch.
