One of the officers looked to be in his mid-twenties while the other in his early thirties. They both wore the usual uniforms except they were this grey. The younger officer had light brown hair, that was reasonably short. He had a strong jawline. Dark blue eyes that complimented his hair. Not that I thought he was cute, I was just observant. The other officer had green eyes and dark brown hair that was a similar style to the other.
The second officer pushed past me without a second thought leaving the first to probably consult me about the issue at hand. My guess had indeed been accurate as he took out a notebook and pen that matched. His notebook itself was a brown leather style. Boy had I not seen that style for a long time.
Should I answer truthfully or try and hide the truth. The first option leaves leeway and the outcome is somewhat unpredictable but for the second what more can I hide other than my conspiracies. Maybe I can do a bit of both. Both outcomes have leeway and the outcome leaves varying questions but what choice does that leave me. All I want to know is how to get out of this situation. Telling the truth is the best option if leave a few details out. That way I could be in and out… I hope.
I shoved my hands in my pocket and walked over to the patient’s seat waiting for questioning. The younger officer looked up from the notebook he just moments ago pulled out. He had a puzzled expression streaming over his face when he realized I knew hat was happening and the procedure. He seemed to brush it off as he soon proceeded to walk over to where I had been waiting. I was starting to doubt their professionalism.
The other officer was checking the body still but kept glancing over to me, not eyeing me suspiciously but something I couldn’t place. This started to worry me like they knew something I didn’t.  Probably they did but I need to focus on the task at hand. I try to keep a poker face as he sits down on the chair across from me. A smile starts to tug at the edge of my lips before I begin to giggle. This giggle turning into laughter, the officer was looking at me concerned.

“I mean we’re all in here for a reason,” I choke out through my insane fit of laughter. I realize I have ruined my chance at appearing normal. I guess I’ll have to work with what I have. “Wonder what my reason is, I do apologize though I did come off a bit, well…” I look away regretting what I am doing. “Insane” I finish not bothering to look back.
I try to steer my gaze away from him “I apologize, my formalities were not present my I introduce myself,” I ask in a sincere voice.
“Hex, my name is Hex Lupin,” I say genuinely. He seemed to calm down after this. I felt really bad I need to work on managing my personality. Before I could even apologize, the thing, I hate doing he interrupts me.
“I’m Asahi Mori, my father was Japanese,” he smiled as he gestured his hand out towards me. Did he forget why were both here? I lean my hand out to shake his.
“Shouldn’t you be questioning me I asked, shaking his hand.

“Yeah, I should probably get to that,” he said his face getting redder, as he pulled back his own hand.  He reached for the notebook which he probably placed down when he had sat down. “Soo… when….umm… did you, well find the body?” he questioned. Now I am seriously doubting his professionalism, I mean he seemed like he new exactly what he was doing. Unfortunately, he seems he has no idea.
“Are you even a cop?” I ask bluntly not bothering to consider if that sounded rude. He seemed quit taken back for… what about a second? Then his expression changed almost to mad but the mad that is childish. He stands up and almost yells at me but holds himself back as he turns to an angle, crosses his arms and…. Pouts.
“Yes,” he replies. I give him the ‘I’m not buying it look,’. He moves his hand, letting his right drop to his waist. “Sorta... Maybe,” he spits out sheepishly. I feel accomplished, proud. “No, were not,” he finally cracks fully. Just then the other officer face palms, I guess I wasn’t supposed to know that he wasn’t a professional. Hehe let’s hope this officer doesn’t kill me for working the ploy out.
“So, if you’re not officers why are you here…hmm,” I raise an eye brow as I speak. My question seems to dwell in their mind. I wonder if they’ll answer truthfully, that’s good question, will they? A valuable question one that will decide whether to trust them or not. Though If anyone were to break it would be Asahi Mori, he seemed sweet enough. We will see, indeed we will.
