*here is a montage of everything that happened in the time that I am skipping: about 2 months-I know, I'm sorry*
*nvm lol I'm too lazy to make a montage, so I'll just tell you what happened.*

About a week after the end of chapter... 11? Idfk, anyway, Wade and Stanley went to pick out rings, Wade moved into Stanley's apartment but kept the lease on his own just in case this doesn't work out. That same week Peter started walking again, and every day he asked his doctors and nurses when Wade was coming to visit. A little more then a week passes and Nurse Kelly takes pity on him and says that Wade has agreed to pay his medical expenses as long as he doesn't have to visit with Peter or anything. Peter becomes depressed and refuses to continue rehab. Nurse Kelly and Doctor Brown don't know wtf to do, so they dismiss him from the hospital in a wheelchair and tell him that he can continue rehab at any time, he just has to ask Wade to restart the payment process. Around the same time Peter was released into the world, Iron Man and Captain America were killed in a second explosion at Stark Tower. Having nowhere to go, Peter goes back to his apartment and finds that Wade has started paying his rent and all of his stuff is unpacked. He becomes a writer for the Buggle since he can't be a photographer anymore, and works out of a desk in Jamestown's office. Wade, depressed by the news he hears about Peter, buys a wedding dress even though he knows Stanley wants him to wear a suit. Stanley, knowing that injuries don't last very long on Wade, has taken to beating him regularly. I know, we all thought Stanley was a good guy! NOPE mwahaha... Anyway, Thor and Loki(Because I ship them, they are now husbands.) have taken young Peter under their wing and moved him into their house in the Village. Peter does nothing except sleep, eat(although barely), go to work, come home from work, repeat. Wade does nothing but sleep, plan his wedding, work, get beaten up, repeat. I am adding Loki and Thor's POV, so... Enjoy the grammar.

Loki's POV

"I'm worried about Peter." I whisper to Thor. He's sitting at the kitchen table, eating ramen and reviewing an article he's written about some criminal who's been systematically burning bars to the ground and screaming "Purge baby! Woohoo!"
"At least he's being creative." Thor whisper-shouts back at me, because the man is incapable of quietness. "He thought of such a cool name for that arsonist!"
"He called him "The Purge Burner". It literally just states what he does."
"Nonetheless!"
"Look..." I sigh. "I know we're supposed to be nice to him, because seriously. The guy had it rough..."
"Loki, when we left Asgard, what did we tell people we planned to do down here?" Thor laces his fingers through mine.
"Start a family and change the world." I laugh softly.
"And why did we say we wanted to do that?"
"The same reason for both." I remember. "To become more."
"I'm pretty damn sure we changed the world!" He booms, kissing me on the cheek. "Now all we've got to do is be there for Peter. If that's not a family, I don't know what is."
"Thor..." I squeeze his hand. "You just said something smart."
"Don't tell dad." He jokes and I giggle, twisting away from him and heading into the kitchen.
"Hey, Pete." I say.
"Hey uncle Loki."
"How're you feeling today, mm?"
"Same as everyday." He sighs, and rolls over to the sink to drop his dish. "I'm gonna go finish this. Thanks for dinner."
"No problem." I say, and as he heads for the stair-lift Thor installed for him, I call for him to stop.
"What's up?" He asks.
"We love you, you know." He looks confused.
"Yeah, I know. I love you too."
"Ok."
"Goodnight uncle Loki..." He rolls his eyes and heads upstairs.
"He likes it when you tell him. He just doesn't show it." Thor hugs me from behind.
"Yeah, I know."

Peter's POV

I can't help but picture Wade laying next to me when I'm in bed, or calling me a nerd while I work, and then when I sleep... I dream of being in his kitchen. He's cooking for me and then suddenly there's a knock at the door. He goes to answer it and he never comes back. I wake up terrified that I won't wake up again. And I know I shouldn't miss him, but I do.

Wade's POV

I kiss Stanley and imagine I'm kissing Peter but it doesn't feel the same. I pretend that Stanley isn't there when he's hitting me and I pretend I'm in the nothing, talking to death. My boxes have gone away, maybe for good. They can't tell me anything I don't tell myself facing the mirror every day. While I plan my-I gag at the thought- wedding, I pretend that it's for me and Peter. And I know I shouldn't miss him, because I threw Spiderman away with the newspapers about the explosion, but for some reason... I still want Pete. Without his mask...
