Karma Todoroki

Second Place-kun!

Karma entered the class late and immediately dropped his strawberry milk. 

"Ah, Akabane. Meet our new student, Asano."

The orange haired boy turned to stare at the redhead.

"Akabane?!"

"Second place-kun?!"

He frowned.

"Don't call me that. Why and how are you here?"

"Recommendations. I am the smartest after all."

Everyone in Class 1A stared at him.

"You're only good at math, Akabane."

Karma gasped.

"But I beat you. How can I beat you if I suck at all the other subjects? That just means your stupidity is too much for everyone to handle."

Little tick marks appeared above Asano's head. He looked at Karma and instantly calmed down. 

"Well then, how come your dad, whoever he is, thought you were stupid?"

Karma glared at him. 

"What are you even doing here?"

"I have a quirk. A good one apparently."

"What is that?"

"I can look at someone and instantly tell what to say to make them feel a certain way. It also makes people lean towards an emotion I want with just my voice to the point where I can control what they do. It's called Smooth Voice. A very stupid name if I might add."

Karma blinked. 

"I did not expect you to actually tell me what it was."

"Guess you thought wrong."

"What happened to the whole 'I want to have leverage over you'?"

"You would have figured it out eventually and annoyed me half to death along the way."

Karma just blinked. Then he shrugged.

"It's my natural charm." He had an air of innocence around him.

Asano just stared at him.

"Right. Natural charm."

Karma smiled. Then, he looked at Todoroki.

"Hi Shoshi!"

"Akabane! You can't enter late and immediately disrupt the class."

"Sorry sensei! Oh, hi Pomeranian!"

Bakugo growled. Asano sighed.

"And he's going for the whole class this time. Lovely. At least he'll annoy me less."

Karma turned to Asano. 

"Sooooooo, where are you sitting?"

"There." He pointed to the seat behind Karma. 

"Oh."

Karma just sat down in his seat and Asano looked horrified.

"Behind him?!"

"You're saying it like it's a bad thing."

Asano just sat in his seat.

"What's your quirk?"

"Who said I had one?"

"Why are you in this universe then?"

"I got accepted to U.A due to my amazing grades and abilities. All I needed to do was take down a few robots. No biggie."

Asano's eye twitched.

"You're only allowed in this course with a quirk."

"Ask the teacher what it is. Not the quirkless one. Also, how did you defeat the robots?"

"OI! NEW KID! HOW DO YOU KNOW THE QUIRKLESS F***ER?!"

Asano sighed. He just could not get a break. First Akabane and his stupid questions and now this. A stupid dog-human thing that's loud and has explosions. Perfect. Just what he needed. 

"We went to Junior High together."

Bakugo stopped and just huffed. He turned around and left.

"Whatever."

Asano smirked. His quirk never failed. Well, usually. It definitely didn't work against his father, the king of brainwashing. Or the robots. But he knew martial arts and that worked.

"Second place-kun!" Karma waved. "Sit here!"

Asano groaned as he made his way to Lord Annoying. He noticed that he and Todoroki were deep in conversation earlier. He sat down next to Karma, scowling.

"Don't say anything." He started eating. Karma opened his mouth.

"No."

"B-"

"No."

Karma pouted and went back to Todoroki.

"Asano-kun is soooo mean!"

Todoroki tried to hide a laugh. It failed and he burst out laughing. Everyone near them stared. Todoroki covered his mouth and tried passing it off as a cough, but it was kinda hard to do that when your laugh sounds amazing and coughs typically don't. 

"Todoroki-kun, did you just laugh?!" Midoriya asked, shocked.

"..."

"He did! And it was amazing! I haven't heard him laugh like that in years!" Karma crowed. "And it was all thanks to me. After all, I'm the only one who can make on- Shoshi laugh."

Todoroki looked offended.

"What about Natsu and Yumi?"

"Touya-nii used to as well."

Todoroki sombered.

"Don't focus on the fact that's he's gone Sho. Focus on the memories. That's the best way to remember him."

"I... suppose you're right."

"Genius, remember? Hey Asano..."

"What now?"

"How's your daddy?"

Asano rolled his eyes.

"The same as usual."

"Still a brainwashing freak?"

Asano sighed but nodded.

"Alright then."

Suddenly, an alarm sounded. 

"Villains are attacking U.A! Everyone has permission to use their quirks!"
