Unfolding Secrets

Karma's eyes flashed with... fear? Asano's eyes widened. No way. But his quirk didn't lie. Asano looked up at Endeavor and was thinking while moving in front of Karma. Endeavor was the number one hero which means there shouldn't be any reason to fear him, he's supposed to save people. But then again, his words didn't match his job or position. He would make Akuma pay? How could he if Akuma is an innocent civilian? That's illegal. Unless he was a criminal, which does match up with Endeavor's words... But if that were true, why are all his children scared of him. They're not criminals. He knew that for sure. And if Akuma has the exact same emotions as them...

"I can protect myself Second Place-kun!" Karma whined. 

"I know you can. But not against him. He's the number one hero, not to mention you didn't bring any weapons. And you're scared which means you know you can't handle him. That or there's something between you two that I don't know of."

"And who are you boy?" Endeavor growled.

"Gakushuu Asano."

"An Asano? I thought they died out. Whatever, just leave. I need to talk with my disobedient children."

Asano's eyes widened. Disobedient children? He didn't tell Akuma to leave which means he's one of them. Which meant...

"Akuma Todoroki. The one who was to have perished due to an overuse of his quirk. That was you." He turned around. Karma looked sheepish. 

"Well... you caught me. The old hag didn't even try to keep it a secret."

"Your quirk is fire based, is it not?"

"Yes."

Fuyumi and Natsuo - who had been listening to the exchange with Shoto - just smiled.

"A perfect match for our genius. The opposite of him with an intelligence level around his. He figured it all out just with a few sentences." Fuyumi gushed. Natsuo nudged her and Shoto sighed before glaring at Endeavor.

"What do you want, Endeavor?"

Asano's eyes widened. Not Father. Just Endeavor. Which meant...

"You don't get along well with your father. None of you do." He deduced. 

"He tore our family apart." Karma looked away. "Forced our mother into an arranged quirk marriage, Touya-nii be-burned up in his own quirk before me, our mother got sent to a mental hospital, Natsuo ran away and Fuyumi was left to deal with us all. I had enough."

Endeavor growled. He had been reaching for Akuma this whole time but the other three Todorokis' had been stopping him with their ice.

"You aren't supposed to tell anyone you insolent boy! I'll take him too for that!" 

Akuma growled. Then, he smirked. Asano sighed in relief. Karma Akabane was back and ready for action. 

"Think you can do that in a public area? People will notice, number one. Your title will be lost. Imagine the headlines, the big, stupid, powerful number one pro hero picking on a defenseless, quirkless, innocent civilian. Don't forget, I go by quirkless here, old hag."

Endeavor growling before flying away.

"I'll get you next time Akumaaaa!" 

Karma sighed.

"We'll have to stay in public areas from now on."

"Yeah." The other three agreed before turning to Gakushuu. 

"Now you know the secrets behind the number one pro hero's family. Please, take care of our baby brother." Fuyumi said. 

Asano sighed.
