12 : She Kept It?

It's been a long time ever since I've fetched Jieun Hye from school. I know that I've been busy for the past couple of months that's why I am trying to pull over all the times that I wasn't able to give Jieun Hye.  Right now, I wish nothing but family time during my days off. 

Waving, I shouted at my sister "Jieun Hye!" 

She smiled and then run towards me saying  "Eonni!" and then hugged me tightly. 

"So, how  was your school today? Did someone bullied you again?" I asked as I touched her chin

"Here we go again!" She crossed her arms "I told you not to fight against my bully classmates!" She uttered

"Aahhh. Look at you! You sounded like you're already an adult!" I scolded

"I am an adult!" She exclaimed

"Oh, are you?" I uttered as I carried her and tickled in her stomach

"Eonni, stop!" My little sister requested, but I didn't stop "Eonniii hahaha" She laughed

"Ah, Look at this two siblings. How was the convenience store going? Are you not yet promoted??" Someone said behind our back. 

I turned around as I bring my sister back down to the ground. "Oh, Mrs. Kim" I replied and bowed down

It was one of the parents who always look down to me and my family. No doubt, that's because they came from a wealthy to the point that they've got some shared stocks at the school. "My sister is great!!" Jieun Hye scolded as I bended and covered her mouth immediately

"Never do that again okay? Don't do that to older people" I whispered

I stood up straight and eyed Mrs. Kim directly "What's your problem with me being a cashier lady at the store? It's a decent job that I will never be ashamed off. And besides, don't you have any things to do?" I raised my eyebrows "I thought you're wealthy enough? Of all wealthy people I know, you're the one who's busy getting in other people's live. Maybe that's why your kid turned out in becoming bully. Her mother doesn't know where to put her attention properly."

Mrs. Kim was about to slap me but then I countered her hands saying "The next time that you'll say something bad against me or my sister, you'll see a different kind of person in me" and then pushed her hands down

"Bleeeeeh" My sister insulted

"Come on here now Jieun Hye" I held my sisters hand and then rushed outside the school 

If there's one thing that I'm not afraid to do; that is to protect my siblings. I love my family so much and I don't want anyone from us to get degraded by those entitled people. Money and fame will always fade, but the good value you have in yourself will always remain until you reach your grave.

Worried, I sat down with Jieun Hye on a shed and ask her "Are you hurt? Are you okay?" 

"Eonni, I'm fine. Don't get worried so much" She insisted

"Look at you, claiming like you're a big girl. I'm just worried that her kid might do something bad at you again" I replied

"Don't worry, if he will do something bad at me, I will punch him in the face just what like father told me!" She said as we laughed together.

I hugged my sister tightly like we've never hugged before "Ahh, you're really a sweet and brave kid. That's a great thing, you're not like me!" I uttered as we pulled away from each other. However, my sister's attention was not fully focused on me. She was looking something from afar
