One Mistake, One Time, Four Babies

We meet again

Clarys POV

I got up at eight this morning. I fed, bathed, and dressed everyone, including myself. It's half past ten. I got everything we needed ready by eleven. I decided that we could go a little early.

"Are you guys ready to go" I asked.

"Yes Mommy." They said together.

"Ok then. Come on."

We walk to the park the same way as yesterday. We get there by half past eleven. We stopped once to get pick up some lunch. The kids go play and I just sit on a bench. My nerves growing by the minute.

They could be here any minute.

Then I here something.I turn around to see Jace. He looks confused.

"Clary?" He said. His eyes brighten when he sees me. 'What?!' They soon go back to normal. Maybe I imagined it.

"Hey Jace. Long time no see." I say.

"Indeed. Where have you been?"

"Here. In New York. Just a few blocks from here."

"Did you leave because if what I said?" He loojed a little sad.

"No Jace. I had other reasons, about four actually" he got a confused look on his face. "That's why I hsd Izzy bring you here. But before I do anything, tell me the truth. Why did you say those things before?"

"I thought I wasn't good enough for you. To love is to destroy. I didn't want to destroy you."

"So they weren't true? You didn't mean them?"

"Of course not! Clary, I could never hate you. I love you"

"Jace, please don't get mad. I need to tell and show you something. You might want to sit."

"What is it?" He asked sitting.

"First I want you to know I love you, too." He looks concerned.

"Clary tell me what it is" I sigh.

"Mikey! Can you come over here please?" He came over. Jace looked confused.

"Yes Mommy?" Mikey said.

"I would like you to meet someone. This is Jace........your father." I said. Jaces eyes almost popped out of his head.

"Daddy?" Mikey asked Jace. Jace looked over at me. I just nodded.

"Jace," I began "this is Michael Lee Herondale" I said. Jace was silent, just staring at Mikey. "Jace, there is something else you should know." I got up and walked towards the playset afyer I told Mikey to stay. I got Rosalie, Kaiden, and Roni. I came back over to Jace. He didn't notice me, he was looking at Mikey. I sat down.

"Jace, this Rosalie Elizabeth Herondale, Veronica Sophia Herondale, and Kaiden Jonathan Herondale. Guys this is your father. Jace was silently staring at them. Finally I couldn't take it anymore. "Jace, please say something."another silence "I understand if you want me to leave and not bother you again, if you want me to I will, but I will not give them up." I say. He looks at me now.

"I'm sorry Clary, I'm just shocked. I would never ask you to do either of those things. I'm so happy. They're bautiful. If you don't mind I would like to be a part of their lives from now on" he said. I sighed in relief.

"There's nothing I want more. So you're ok with all of this?"

"Yes" he turned to my little angels "hi guys. I'm your daddy."
