One Mistake, One Time, Four Babies

Clarys POV

Last night was the best sleep I have had in a while. I'm awoken by my angels.

"Mommy! Daddy! Get up! Mr. Sun is up, so we need to be up!" They say.

"Ok. Ok. I'm up" I say. I hear Jace chuckle and feel him sit up. "Come here"

They all four crawl up onto the bed.

"What do you guys want to do today?" I ask them. They think. All of their faces light up at the same time.

"Ice cream and fair!" They say together, excitedly. They call the amusement park 'the fair'. I see Jaces confusion.

"They mean the amusement park" I inform him.

"Oh. Ok. Can I come? I want to spend some time with you guys" he says.

"What do you guys think?" I ask my angels. "Can Daddy come with us?"

"Yes! Please Daddy. Please, please, please!" They say. He smiles.

"I don't know..." he says jokingly. They all jump on him, repeatedly saying "please". I laugh. He sits up and says "of course I'm coming. I wouldn't miss it for anything in the world"

"Ok, let's go get ready. Jace do you want to help?" I ask.

"Sure, but you might need to help me a little"

"Ok. I'll show you how to bathe them. Follow me" I went to the bathroom. I turn on the water. "I usually bathe them all together in one bath, but since your learning, I'll bathe the girls first while you watch. Pay attention because you get to bathe the boys next"

"Ok"

"Don't make the water too cold or too hot, or they will scream. Make it this temperature" he felt the water and nodded. "Girls, come here. Time for a bath"

"Bath!" They yell. I show Jace how to give them a bath. When they're done, I get them out and dress them.

"Ok Jace. Your turn" he turns on the water.

"Boys. Bath time" he says.

"Bath!" They yell. I walk out to the bedroom. The girls go downstairs while I sit and draw on Jace's bed. Suddenly I hear a splash and a scream. Haha. Oops. I forgot to tell Jace that Kaiden likes to splash. About ten minutes, and a bunch of splashing later, Jace walks out with the two boys. Jace is soaked.

"Thanks for the heads up" he says.

"Sorry, I forgot to tell you that Kaiden likes to splash" I say. I'm trying to hold in the laughter.

"Ha ha ha. Very funny"

"You go get changed and I'll dress them"

"Ok. Do you want to go to Taki's for breakfast?" He asks.

"Sure" I say. He leaves and I dress the boys. Then I get dressed and go downstairs.

"Ready?" He asks me.

"Yeah. Is it chilly out?" I ask.

"No"

"Ok. You take the girls and I'll take the boys" I say gesturing to the kids. He grabs the girls' hands and I grab the boys'. Then we're off.

At Taki's

Clarys POV

We get to Taki's and go sit in a booth. Me and Jace sit across from each other with the kids on the inside. The boys beside me and the girls beside Jace. Our waitress cimes up. It's Kaelie. The slut Jace broke up with me for.

"Hey Jacey-poo. Is that you Clary? Who's kids are these?" She asked.

"Mine" I said. She smirked.

"See Jace, I told you she was a slut. I could tell they were your's. They're just as ugly as you" I got pissed. Nobody talks about tjem like that, especially not Kaelie.

"I'm not the slut here, you are. At least I don't sleep with every guy I see. At least I know who their father is. If you say one more thing about them, I will jump this table and kick your ass" I say. I'm standing by now.

"Oh really? I don't think you can. Your kids are ugly and so are you. You're just mad because i stole your boyfriend" she said. I warned her. I jumped the table and grabbed her arm. I flipped her and pinned her to the ground. I pulled my arm back and punched her, hard. I got off her and turned around to see Jace staring at me wide eyed.

"Don't you ever say anything about my kids" I say.

"Oh and Kaelie, if you stole me from Clary, then why do I still love her. And also, I'm the father of those kids and they are the most beautiful children in the world" he says to her. "And Clary, I was wondering if....umm....you maybe wanted to....possibly....give me a second chance and....be my girlfriend?" He says nervously.

"I'd love to, but you have to ask the kids, too" I say.

"Kids, can Mommy be Daddy's girlfriend?"

"Okay, Daddy" they say. "Mommy can we go to the fair now. Please"

"Okay. I guess we can get some food there" I tell them.

"Clary, how did you do that?" Jace asks me.

"After I left, and gave birth, I decided to take some self defense classes. Just to be safe. So if I needed to defend myself or the kids, I could. I needed to, I was a single mother alone in New York" I tell him.

"Oh, ok. That makes sense. Just remind me to stay on your fiod side"

"I will" I say. Then.we leave.

We spend all day at the amusement park. We get home around seven. We put the kids to bed and go to Jace's room.

"I'm glad we're back together" he says.

"Me, too" I say.

"Clary. I'm just curiousn but how many guys have you been with?" He asks.

"Only you" I tell him. He leans down to kiss me. I lean up at the same time. Our kisses start off soft and gentle, but they soon turn into something more. They get feircer. Jace gently pushes me onto his bed. Soon we're both naked and kissing.

I wake up the next morning to see Jace still asleep. The sun is shining through the window. It's shining on him, making him look even more angelic looking. I couldn't help but stare. He is so gorgeous.

"Why are you staring at me?" He suddenly asks, startling me.

"Because you're so gorgeous and angelic" I say without thinking. "And I'm not"

"Hey," he says grabbing my hands. He's sitting up looking at me. "You are beautiful. You are twice as gorgeous as me. Do you understand?" I nod. "We made four beautiful children. I couldn't have done that without you. I love you Clary. I love you and our beautiful little angels. Ok? Don't let Kaelie get to you. She's just jealous of you"

"Why would she be jealous of me?" I ask.

"Because you're more beautiful than she could ever be. Not just physically, but enternally, too" he says, looking me in the eyes. "And because you have me"

I couln't resist it. I just had to kiss him, so I did. He gasped, surprised at first, but quickly kisses me back. He is so sweet and kind. I love him so much it hurts.

"I love you so much Jace" I tell him.

"I love you more Clary" he says. I smile up at him.

Jaces POV

I love Clary so much it hurts. I love our kids just as much. I'm so happy we're together again.

It's Clary's seventeenth birthday in two months. I want to give her a really special evening. Take her to all of our favorite spots. To finish the night I want to take her to the place we first kissed. It was in this old abandoned greenhouse. Even though it's abandoned, it's still beautiful. All of the flowers now grow naturally. I want to ask her something very important there, but first I have to ask Simon's permission. He's the closest thing she has to a brother, or father, she has at the moment. I'm going to find him after I take a shower.
