Act 4: Searching for Emeralds

(You know, seeing how far Sonic has come, it makes you wonder why Sega doesn't make Adventure 3. I would play it. Like, they can make Sonic and Shadow have the sped stages, bring back the treasure hunting for Knuckles and Rouge, and have Tails do something. I don't know. I'm bored, and I just want a new game from one of my favorite series to come out. Enjoy!)

(Nova's POV)

             I believe my husband and I have some explaining to do. Everyone faced us as Sorely held the green and white emeralds in his hands.

"So, what are these?" Rob asked as he gestured to the emeralds.

"These are the Chaos Emeralds. There are Seven Chaos Emeralds in total. When the Chaos Emeralds are gathered, a strong power or wish can be granted. However, the power or wish can be granted depending on the creature who uses it. If a person uses this power or wish with good intentions, then something good will happen. But, if someone uses this power for malicious attentions, then something horrible will be fall others. After that, all the emeralds will disappear to the other ends of the world" I explained to them calmly, "Anyone can use the emeralds and their powers by saying the phrase "Chaos Control". The powers will vary though depending on what the user wants"

I remained quiet and let everything take in this information.

"So, can we use this power to make more food and make money?!" Leon asked in delight as he slammed his fist on the table with Vector's eyes widen in delight.

"No, not at all" I said to him with a disappointed look on my face.

Miriam pulled Leon's ear to silence him and his petty words as Sorely raised his hand to ask a question.

I nodded my head at him as he asked, "So, can we use these emeralds to stop Mephiles and his plans as well as restoring Gaia?"

I was surprised to hear this from the Silver Wind. To be honest, I sometimes forget that he has to think about the situations he is in. He is leading a resistance.

"How come you want to stop him using these weird rocks?" Rob asked annoyed.

"If these rocks are that strong, then maybe we can use it to help others. I don't know how to use it, but if Nova and Cannon can use the emeralds, then maybe we can stop this terrible reign" Sorely said to his best friend seriously.

He always did care about others before himself.

"We can do that. We can use the Chaos Emeralds to defeat that horrible king" Cannon said in nonchalant manner as he leaned back on the chair, he was sitting in.

I rolled my eyes at my husband.

"So, how come you know so much about these emeralds?" Leon asked loudly, "I mean, we don't know anything about it, but you seem to know a whole lot about it. How and why?"

I knew that question was going to come up sooner or later. Cannon looked at me with such an intent expression. Everyone in the room was very quiet as they waited for a moment.

"Well, that is because of the god of our place. The god of this world was able to inform us everything that is going on here" I spoke calmly, "Right now, that god is currently tied with Sorely. Would you care to do the honors, Silver Wind?"

He nodded his head as he showed his bracelet to everyone. We waited in silence as his bracelet shined a green light. Then, the god appeared before us. Everyone, except myself, my husband, Sorely, and Nazo, jumped back in shock.

"Ah, I was wondering when we would meet" Luka said with a warm smile as she curtsied before him, "I am Luka the witch. I am very honored to meet you"
