Act 5: A Night to Remember

(Man, I can't believe how far I've come with this story and still have the physical copy of it too. Look, I am worried to lose it, ok?! I lost this copy, the Dreamers Classmates Stories, and another story three separate times! It was nightmare! At least I was able to recover the Dreamers Classmates Stories, but not the other two. Either way, Enjoy!)

(Sorely's POV)

                    We were all shocked to hear the plan! It sounded too good to be true. Everything is going to go our way. That never happens.

"So, even my princess is ok with this plan of yours. I should've known. She always loves to go on adventures when she has a chance" Arth said with a sigh.

"Then, we have our plan, then right?!" Leon shouted loudly, "This is going to be easy! We found two more Emeralds!"

"Technically, we have three" Arth said as he walked to his sword to pull it out of his scabbard to reveal an Emerald inside the sword!

"How did you do that?" Miriam asked in surprise as she looked at the blade.

"Blacksmiths over there are pretty good at making weapons. You should take a look at it once you finish your coup here" Arth said as he took the emerald out of the sword, "I'll help you out since my princess is also helping you out as well"

He turned to me and handed the emerald to me.

"Thank you for your help! We will return to the emerald to you once this is all over along with princess's emerald" I said to him with a nod.

"We would appreciate it" Arth said with a grin.

With that, we have three emeralds on us while the two princesses have two emeralds. So, in total, we have five emeralds! We also heard from Nova that there are emeralds in the castle. This is just our break!

"Then, we can use my magic to get us in the castle. I'll need a specific location" Luka said calmly as she flipped through her spellbook, "Maybe the garden?"

"No, that would be near the ball, so we cannot teleport anywhere near there" Cannon said calmly.

"What about the hallway where I found this bracelet?" I suggested as I showed the bracelet to her.

Luka examined it closely for a moment before her hand shined a faint pink light shined.

"I think I've got it. Just me practice the spell for a bit" Luka reassured them.

"We'll need to break into three teams. One team will watch over the ball while the other two teams will search the castle for the last two emeralds" I said calmly, "We need to be quick too since we don't know if the guards will wonder around the castle. Nazo and Arth will try to make sure the guards are not around, but we should be prepared for the worst. So, we just need to break into the teams now"

I turned to my teammates who were thinking about their group. Well, Arth, Nazo, and Nova will be at the ballroom, so they can't leave. Cannon would probably want to go the ballroom just to spend some time with his wife.

"Leon and Rob will go and search down the hallway. I'll be with Miriam and Vector. Vanilla will remain here to count us off. We have to be back here at a certain time. What time should that be?" I asked them.

"The ball is supposed to go on till the sun comes up, but we should be out of there before that happens. It starts at around 10 PM. I vote for 3 AM. That way, we have enough time to search and escape in case things go south for us which does tend to happen a lot" Cannon suggested.

"I think that will be enough time for us as well. We are only stealing the emerald. We have no reason to fight with the guards nor cause a ruckus. We need to quick and quiet" Miriam added seriously as she eyed me, Rob, and Cannon.
