"Aye all you gotta do is go by the nigga house and shoot it up." My pops said over the phone.

"Nah I told you imma pass up on that. I gotta see what's going on at this strip club." I explained to him for the third time.

Nigga was really starting to get on my nerves.

"You soft just like yo momma. You know you'n gotta be bitching all the time. Just shoot up this nigga hou-" I cut him off by hanging up.

He's always been bugging and calling me when he wants me to do something.

When he retired I thought he would be done with this shit but I guess not.

Right now I was in my car on my way to the strip club I owned to see what the problem was.

One of my security guards said they found some footage of someone trying to get in.

30 minutes later, I got there and entered the building seeing the strippers and some of the bartenders giving me lustful stares.

I mentally rolled my eyes. Nothing new.

"So what's been going on?" I asked Robin, my security guard that was standing by my office door.

I unlocked my office and went to my chair behind my desk while Robin sat in one of the chairs in front of my desk.

"I didn't get to see his face that much but he broke one of the alarms trying to get in. And he left this." He said giving me a note.

I opened it and read it.

the fuck?

"Aight. Thank you for telling me." I said getting up stuffing the note in my back pocket.

imma take it to the trap to figure out who wrote this note.

"Hey bestie." Mia cheesed getting in the passenger seat.

"Bestie? When that happened?" I asked playfully.

"Boy shut up." She chuckled getting on her phone.

We've gotten close over the past few weeks. To say she was fun as hell to be around was an understatement.

I was taking Mia out to lunch since she wanted to hang out.

I didn't have a problem with it considering I ain't have nothing else to do today.

"Put ya seat belt on." I said.

"If I put mines on, you gotta put yours on."

"Girl ion need a seat belt. Just put yours on." I fussed, backing out of the driveway.

She put hers on before reaching over to me and putting mines on for me.

"Yo ass could fly out that damn window. You don't watch commercials foo?" She asked mugging me.

"I been good all this time. Ain't nun gone change." I shrugged.

"You don't know that. Yo life could be easily snatched away from you." She preached.

I just nodded and let her play her music until we got to the restaurant.

Once we got there, we sat at one of the booths and waited for someone to take our orders.

"Hi what can I get for you guys today." A waiter said coming up to us mainly staring at me.

I seen Mia roll her eyes and get on her phone making me chuckle.

"Let me get the chicken strip and cajun seasoned fries meal with a sprite." I said.

"And can I have the meal of the day please?" Mia said but the waiter wasn't paying her any attention because she was still staring at me.

"Hello. You heard me?" Mia asked snapping her fingers in the waiter face making me silently chuckle.

"Please don't do that." She said with an attitude, rolling her neck.

"Sis, how you gone have a attitude AND a fucked up lace? Anyways, like I was saying I'll have the meal of the day. Extra seasoning." She said calmly.

The girl nodded quickly and ran away in embarrassment .

"Yo you outta pocket." I said finally letting my laugh out.

She shrugged her shoulders and got back on her phone.

We talked about random stuff until our food got here.

"So how was your day so far?" She asked.

"Aight I guess. Somebody was tryna get in the club last night tho and left a note."

"What he look like?"

"I ain't get a clear look in on his face but he was light skin." I explained.

"It's always the light skin niggas." She said with her mouth full of food.

"Close yo mouth damn."

"Negro fuck you. I do what I please." She said smiling at the end with chewed up food in her teeth.

"You ugly bruh." I laughed.

"Just like ya mother." She joked.

We finished eating our food then headed back to her place.

"You can come in if you want." She suggested.

I thought about it for a few seconds then shrugged getting out with her.

She opened the door and I went to sit on her couch while she went upstairs.

I sat back and thought who could've written that note cause all the niggas I been beefing with either dead or in jail.

My phone started ringing so I picked it up seeing it was Kayla.

"Ayo cuzzo." She said into the phone.

"Waddup?"

"Imma be outta town for a few days so I just called to let you know. Mama gotta go to this physical therapy bull crap." She explained.

"Aight. Tell my TT I love ha aight?"

"Aight. Talk to ya later." She said hanging up.

"Wanna watch something?" She asked coming back downstairs in some shorts and a over sized college sweatshirt. Her hair was in a messy bun.

She looked good without even trying.

"Aye! Amiga. Quieres ver algo?" She said snapping her fingers in my face.

She was speaking fluent spanish but I ain't know what the hell she just said.

"The hell you say?" I asked confused.

"I said, you wanna watch something? I decided to start speaking spanish since you was staring looking special." She said sitting down on the couch beside me getting the remote.

"You mixed with Latino a sum?"

"Yea. My mother's dad was full blood. He died tho." She said sounding upset.

"You got disney plus?" I asked changing the topic seeing she wasn't happy.

"Yup. You tryna watch shake it up?"

"What the hell is that?"

"Oh yea your canceled." She laughed putting it on.

I took my shoes off and let her cuddle up against me as we watched whatever show this was.

this was just a filler nun serious.

i'm tryna make this book not boring by putting some suspense in but i gotta figure out how to do that.

excuse any mistakes.
