Keira's POV

I still can't calm down my excitement after I knew this surprising news since it was the first business trip I had worked at this place for years. Also, Switzerland was one of my wishlists for vacation. It was great news for me but my mom would be jealous.

I might send a short text to inform her this was a business trip since I would miss out on Christmas time with them. I hope she wouldn't get disappointed again since I had promised her I would go back for Christmas break. Perhaps I would take a short leave to see them after we ended this trip.

I was excited and looking forward to this, but there had something bothering me. Ophelia and I just met and we seemed to tag along and so on, but I never had a trip with a new friend. I didn't think I would get used to it sharing a room or even a bed with a new friend.

Hell, I was getting nervous when I thought about that.

I knew Ophelia was a wonderful and great person to me, but we were not close with each other yet. Did you get what I was trying to say? I thought I have a socializing issue, I meant I could try being polite and friendly to my clients. We could even spend a long chat for a coffee or tea break, but I didn't keep in touch with them if only I tried to get business from them again.

Vince and Cassy were only my best friends, but we were never out for a trip. Also, I only spent my vacation with my family, and I was only comfortable staying together with them.

I knew that wouldn't be hurt to share a business trip with Ophelia since we could talk about anything we enjoy and she seemed never to judge me either. Also, I knew she wouldn't be a problem for me but I was just worried I might trouble her when we stayed together.

I assumed traveling with your friends was kinda challenging since we never knew in detail about each other personal lifestyles. But, if the friend could be tolerated, then that was good news.

I should have to stop overthinking. I hated always doing this whenever I met something odd for me. That makes sense I worked longer hours than other people. Especially when I encounter new issues, I could spend a long time thinking and planning until the early morning.

Eventually, I silently exhaled from my lips as I glanced at the adorable angel who knitted her brows in concentration and looked at her laptop. I smiled at that lovely face before continuing work.

Was that bad if I looked at her without her knowing? I didn't mean to stalk her. I just liked to see her to peace of mind. Hmm. That sound weird. I couldn't explain it, let's drop it.

"You should go home, Ophelia. It's getting late," I smiled at the blonde angel after I checked my time. I never realize the time until my room was getting dark and had to switch on the light, and it already passed 7 pm.

Jenny already knew I would stay up late, she had family so I always asked her to go home when the time passed 5.30 pm. After a few months she worked with me, she get used to it and she would bid me goodbye at the end of working hours.

Right, I was so oblivious.

Ophelia didn't move but she was busy looking at her phone as I walked toward her desk and said softly, "I had told Jenny that she could go home after 5.30 pm. My bad. I have forgotten to tell you this since you're on the first-day duty."

"What about you?" the pretty blonde asked softly as she gazed at me with a cute smile. "If I go home, you should go home too. I'll stay with you to work until we go back."

I chuckled, "You don't have to. I stay up late because I would spend most of the time thinking and planning for the next day before I go home."

"Well, I think spending time here will be so much fun instead of slacking around and waiting for the next day at home," she happily used her thumb to press her phone screen as she grinned at me, "I'll be right back." With that, she raised from her seat and happily walked out of our room.
