"Hey Sofia." "Hey Tiara." Asia stops dead in her tracks as she hears those words escape her mouth. "Did you hear? I heard the new girls last relationship was abusive, I'm friends with someone who knows him and told me she's making it up." Asia tried holding herself together, but she couldn't hold it. She ran towards the bathroom. Memories flashed through Asia's mind of when Aiden abused Asia. Emmett chased Asia knowing what Tiara said. Emmett ran into the bathroom with her. He held her hair back while she threw up. Asia felt like she just couldn't catch a break. Her heart raced as memories came crawling back. "Emmett just go, I don't want you to get into trouble for coming in here." Asia says while still throwing up. "I don't give a shit. Nothings gonna happen." Emmett says while still holding her hair back. Asia just sat there on the floor exhausted. "Hey hey, it's going to be okay." Emmett says while still hugging her. "Thank you for always being here for me." Asia says while hugging him even tighter.
They both walk out of the bathroom and go to their class. Her first class was BIM 1, a computer class she decided to take to learn programming. As Asia sat down the teacher introduced herself "Hello Class I'm Miss Telles.'' Asia ended up next to a girl, and suddenly she realized that it is one of the girls that talked about her, Tiara from the hallway. Asia tries to avoid her, but she keeps trying to ask her questions about what happened. "It's none of your fucking business!" Asia yells. "Ms. Asia!" Ms. Telles proclaimed. "Please stay after class so I can have a word." "Yes ma'am I'm sorry." Asia says getting back to work.
*Class ends*
"Ms. Asia I didn't like how you shouted during class and especially on your first day," Ms. Telles says disappointedly. "Ma'am I'm very sorry, but something personal got spread, Tiara kept asking me about it." Ms. Telles's seemed to relax her eyes, "Just handle it better next time, okay?" Ms. Telles says empathetically. "Yes ma'am." Asia leaves in relief as she understands. Classes go by, lunch begins to come around She couldn't find Emmett anywhere nearby.
Asia pays for lunch and some guys walk up to her. They raised a hand in an attempt to hit her as she flinched in fear. They begin to burst out laughing at her causing the whole cafeteria to stare at Asia. Emmett saw what they did and yelled, "You're such a dick dude!" They just did their damage and just left. Asia noticed they were from the basketball team. Emmett takes her to a lunch booth. "I'm honestly just fed up with this!", Asia says and Emmett tells her it's going to be okay. "Everyone says that but it never is." Asia says in stress. "Take your time to calm down." Emmett says trying to get her to relax. Asia takes out her sketch pad and draws on one of her sketches she started a week ago, a pond with dragonflies and frogs. "Wow you're still sketching?", Emmett says surprised. "Yeah." Asia says while lightening up. "I'm excited to do better projects this year!"
*The bell for the next class rings*
"Finally gym class, a class I don't have to socialize with others.'' Asia thinks relief. As Emmett walks Asia to her gym course located outside the main school building, they start talking about clubs for the school year." Hey why don't you try the manager for a team? Get you to be busy." Emmett asks excitedly. "Too many people will bother me." She says feeling annoyed. "What about the manager for the boys team?" Emmett offers. "Maybe but, the guys are horrible." Asia says.
Emmett leaves because he has another class. Asia walks to the locker room and every girl stares at her knowing what had happened 2 years ago. She begins to change as some girl takes her shorts. She reaches for her shorts and notices they're not there. "Crap where are my shorts, I know I brought them." Asia thinks to herself, Asia begins to hear girls giggling and instantly knows it was them. "Damn it they took my shorts." Asia calming walks to them holding back restraint. "Hey I'm sorry to bother you, but have you seen my shorts?" Asia asks. One of the girls pulls out Asia's shorts. "Thank you so mu-", The girl holding Asia's shorts begins to tear her shorts in front of Asia. "What the hell is wrong with you trying to bring down a big player with false accusations?" Asia begins to tear up quickly. "Why are people such assholes all the time?" Asia thinks to herself Asia heads back to her bag knowing she does not have anything but jeans and her gym shirt which she isn't allowed to wear in her gym course. She tells the coaches she forgot her shorts and is allowed a pass since it's only the first day.
*Gym ends*
"Hey Asia, how was gym class?", Emmett asked optimistically. Asia walks past Emmett. He immediately knew something happened. Asia began to walk to her next class as Emmett walked behind her. "Hey did something happen?", Emmett asks concerned. "Something always happens!" Asia begins to walk faster. She fed up with life at this point. She began to walk off by herself. She lost Emmett walking to her next class and turning another corner she crashed into someone.
