Asia woke up the next morning so excited to get her nails done. She hopped out of bed and jumped into to shower. That was a day she had her mom all to herself. She washed her hair and face and grabbed a towel to dry off. She began to blow dry her hair as she heard her mom open her door. "Someone is excited." She says laughing. "Who wouldn't be excited? I finally spent a day with you." Asia said as she still dried her hair. "Don't forget what nails you're getting." Her mom says walking out of her room. "Yeah ma'am." Asia says as her hair dries up. Asia brushes it out and can't decide if she should curl or straighten her hair. "Hey mom!" Asia says headed downstairs. "Should I straighten or curl?" Asia asks for some water. "Um why not straight? I haven't seen your hair straighten in a while." Her mom says making some coffee. "Okay, thank you." Asia says headed back upstairs.
Asia plugged in her straightener as she went into her closet to find what she was going to wear for today. The weather was going to be 79 degrees. She didn't want to wear something too warm, but she gets pretty cold easily so she decided to lay out some black cargos and a black crop-top. Asia laid it out and started on her hair. Asia can be clumsy so she tried not to burn her fingers. Asia has already sliced her finger; she didn't need to burn it. As Asia straightened her hair her phone buzzed. Surprisingly it was Emmett. Asia never thought he would be up this early.
Emmett: Hey Good morning.
Asia: Good morning. You're up early.
Emmett: Yeah i'm kinda surprised too
Asia: Any plans today?
Emmett: Nope, I'll probably help my parents clean up a bit, but that's it. How about you?
Asia: Well at least you're helping up. My mom and I are finally having a day to ourselves
Emmett: That's great, I know how much time you have been wanting with your mom
Asia: I know i'm so excited. We're getting our nails done
Emmett: I hope you have an amazing day. We can talk later, See you in the morning tomorrow
Asia: See you tomorrow
Asia set her phone back down and finished her hair. She got dressed, brushed her teeth, and finished her bottle of water. Her mom wasn't ready so Asia decided to take some breakfast. She got out some batter and made some pancakes. She turned on the stove and mixed the batter with eggs, sugar, flour, and vanilla. Once that was mixed, the stove was at the right temperature. She grabbed a pan and carefully poured the pancake batter.
Once the pancakes were fully cooked she got out some plates and got the table ready so they could eat. It's been a while since Asia made breakfast for them, so she thought she should do something nice. Nobody understands how much Asia has been waiting for this day. Asia sat there patiently for her mom because Asia finished getting ready first. Asia decided to also make some avocado toast. "Morning Asia." Asia's mom said walking down the stairs. "Good morning mom. You look gorgeous." Asia says smiling and grabbing her mom a plate. "Thanks honey. I didn't know you made this. You should've told me to help you." Her mom says giving her a hug. "It's fine. You've always done things for me. Let me return the favor for once." She says hugging back her mom. They both sit down and Asia grabs some coffee for her mom. "Thank you." Her mom says talking her coffee. "I've been dying for this day to come." Asia says choking down her food. "Don't die, we still have to get our nails down." Her mom says giggling. Asia really gave the look. "I'm just kidding Asia, calm down." Her mom says while eating her pancakes.
Once the finished Asia washed dishing while her mom picked up some of their trash. " thank you for breakfast." Her mom says walking over to throw away all the trash. "Your welcome. I should do this more often." Asia says smiling. Once they finished the dishes Asia's mom got on her shoes and they headed to the car. "I'll drive." Asia says twirling the keys with her finger. "Asia you're treating me too much." Her mom says reaching for the keys. "Mom it's fine. You've been tired lately." Asia says getting into the driver's seat. "You say that a lot." Her mom says getting into the passenger seat. "I know." Asia says, giving her a smart ass grin. "You a wonderful kid, you know that." Her mom says giving Asia a bright smile. Asia felt bad, she said that. Asia wished she had told her mom about yesterday but, she doesn't want her to stress about anything else. She was already stressed with work. "Thanks mom." Asia says faking a smile. Asia drove off towards the nail salon.
They finally made it and got out their phones and their nail designs out. "Asia, I'm going to the bathroom." Asia's mom says running out of the bathroom. "Okay." Asia says, pulling out her purse. Asia decided to pay since her mom was gone. She reached into her purse for cash. "I'm sorry I have cash in here somewhere." Asia asked nervously. She couldn't find it. By the time her mom already came back. "Hey here's my card." She says handing the worker her card. Asia was surprised she hasn't used any of her cash in a while. "Thanks mom for paying." Asia says. "No problem." She says sitting down as well. They show the ladies their nails they wanted. As Asia was getting her nails filed she was thinking about how she would make it up to Owen. She wanted to return the favor for helping her get outta that situation. Asia honestly felt bad. She just wished Emmett was there because she always has Emmett with her, but for some reason he didn't want to show up. Asia just wished she never went. The more Asia thought about the more she realized something. "That my cash was gone." Asia thought to herself. "When I went to the bathroom Tiara took cash from my purse that was in my purse." Asia finally managed to where her money went. Asia was heated at the point she has been harassed, robbed, and her pictures were out. Asia didn't expect her junior year to be this bad, but it's only gonna get worse from here on out.
