The sun.

I can't reach it.

My arms won't work.

What's going on?

It's dusty.

A tingling electric shock feeling was fresh in the tips of my fingers but soon replaced by numb fatigue cradling my mind and body. My brain rang and rattled as confusion comparable to that of a fish on land clouded my head in thick plumes. Danger was everywhere, yet impossible to comprehend where exactly it was.

"Y/N?! Y/N WHERE ARE YOU?!"

I tried to turn my head towards the voice shouting my name, but nothing could move. My eyes drifted in the direction, blinking away the powder polluting the air that intrusively dipped into my eyes.

Katsuki.

"Eh— Kff-!.." The dryness in my mouth was a giant cotton ball, wicking away my words with a dry heave of air.

"Dynamight! Look out!" Midoriya cried, followed by an earth-shaking crash.

Midoriya.. my friends! Where were they?

More indistinct yelling muffled through the hot blanket of floating micro-debris called to the husk of myself.

They need your help. Get up!

I tried to get myself to move, anything to move, but something felt like it was killing my motor functions right as the signal to move was sent. The weight of my body held me in place, trapping me down on earth, just for me to stare at the fuzzed sun doing its best to touch me. I couldn't feel it. It can't reach me.

So here I laid, seemingly without a worry in the world, as a bloody battle raged on in a typhoon of aggression.

My quirk felt distant, just barely out of reach. Like if I could just reach a bit further, try a little harder, I could grasp it and pull it back to myself.

Fear started to trickle in the more consciousness I retained; no matter how hard I willed it I couldn't move any part of my body.

Get up. It's not safe to stay here.

"I— I can't!" I should be shaking at this point, but my body remained unresponsive to the intense fear and turmoil that started to rush into crowded my mind.

You have to!

I focused hard, trying to calm down as my eyes squeezed shut. "HnnggrruUH!" Nothing, absolutely nothing responded.

"No no no... I—I..." Tears started to fall from the corners of my eyes, plipping quietly against the dry rubble beneath my numb body. A deep, sickly feeling settled in my stomach.

Helplessness doused me in merciless hyperventilation. "K-Katsuki! KATSUKI!!"

"Y/N!!" Another boom followed my name. "WHERE ARE YOU?!" The desperation in his voice shook my brain in terror as the situation sunk its fangs deeper into my gut.

Tears poured down the sides of my face. "I-I don't know!! Please! Katsuki, I can't—!" I couldn't even manage the words, getting cut off with an involuntary sob. I'd never felt so... weak.
