Chapter 5

Pappy Joe : hey kids where y'all been 

Lucas : I showed Maya around the farm and took her horseback riding to the lake 

Pappy Joe : oh did y'all have fun

Maya : yeah we did

Pappy Joe : well glad you had fun now y'all go get cleaned up 

Maya and Lucas do as there told 

Maya's phone buzzes with another video chat from Farkle 

Farkle : hey Maya how was your day 

Maya : good Lucas showed me around the farm and took me horseback riding down to the lake and. we had a picnic 

Farkle : that's nice 

Maya : yeah , oh and he took me to a country concert 

Farkle : wow you had quite a day 

Smakle : yeah you did 

Maya : hey Smakle , yeah I had fun today 

Farkle : I can tell your smiling like you never smiled before 

Maya : what no I'm not it's just a regular smile

Farkle : ok jezze 

Maya : so what did you do at science camp today 

Smakle : we made electricity using a potatoes some electrical wire and batteries 

Maya : cool 

Farkle : and we made  a chemical reaction using different chemicals 

Maya : nice sounds like you're having fun 

Farkle and Smakle : we are 

Maya : I'm glad 

Farkle and Smakle : well it's lights out soon so we better go , Farkle kisses Smakle good night then she leaves the room

Smakle : goes to her room 

Maya : wait Farkle 

Farkle : yeah what is it is everything ok

Maya : Lucas kissed me while we were at the lake having our pincic 

Farkle : what he did 

Maya : yeah but he said he just got caught up in the moment and that it didn't mean anything 

Farkle : Maya I know that's not true he really likes you he has ever since he kissed you at the campfire a while back but he's too scared to tell you

Maya : what he does how do you know all this 

Farkle : he told me so but I think he'll tell you soon 

Maya : oh ok thanks 

Farkle : your welcome sis 

Maya : sis ? 

Farkle : yeah you're like a sister to me ,we go to each other with our problems just like brother and sister

Maya : yeah we do don't we 

Farkle : so do you still like Lucas back 

Maya : yes I still like Lucas

Farkle : ok I thought so , I really have to go now it's getting late 

Maya : ok talk to you later

Farkle : yeah talk to you later , bye sis
