"We made it." Tenga shouted over the howling wind, as it blew ten times its usual.
Lilee, smiled happily, as she started to unhook her seat belt. The aircraft landed on a sandy surface, steady, and slow, we did in fact make it. But that didn't give Stone or I complete reassurance, because the deathly numbing grip we had on our hands was remaining.
"Come we should take a look at where we landed, Tenga knows his way around the heavens." Sharing his equally wide grin he undid my seat belt first, and then his, as we jumped out to join Tenga and Lilee.
It was a beach, one secluded away from civilization, almost as if we had made the discovery all by ourselves. And since the sun was still smiling down on us, we danced about.
Lilee and Tenga unpacked some things, from the helicopter, whilst Stone and I sat in the shallow water. It was clear as glass, and it reflected our image as a mirror, perfectly.
"Well the water is almost as lovely as you, isn't it then?"
Laughing he mixed up our reflection with his hands, as he cupped the pure liquid, and threw it at me.
"You monster." Giving him an evil glance, I balled my fist with the beige sand.
"You're the monster look at you, you're trying to bloody blind me!"
Dropping the grainy weapon, I ran towards him with force. Sinking like an angry wrestler, he charged after me too.
Lunging into his arms with a forceful embrace, I wrapped myself around him as if he were a tree, holding onto him for dear life. I closed my eyes, laughing as he did the same.
"You're a beautiful monster Grant Everly."
