they're parked in Techi's car as Techi watches Neru place the last piece of gum in her mouth. Techi's last piece of gum.

"hey! that's mine!"

Neru smirks and shrugs her shoulders, head cocking to the side as she teases her girlfriend. she smiles sweetly, but techi knows neru is anything but innocent.

"what are you going to do about it?"

Techi blushes.

it wasn't like they haven't kissed. it's just, techi has never initiated any of their kisses. Techi gulps as she looks at Neru.

Neru is serious. she was becoming a bit insecure at the lack of affection she received from Techi. they've only recently started dating, but Neru is needy and craves for Techi's affection. she needed to be sure Techi wanted this just as much as her.

Techi stiffens in the drivers seat while Neru smiles and bats her eyelashes.

Neru's smile is more inviting than teasing now. but Techi is hesitant, and Neru would never force Techi to do anything she was uncomfortable with, so instead of moving closer, she put up her hands to disregard it.

"i'm only kidding, Te-"

Neru's eyes widen as she feels Techi's lips covering hers. Techi's eyes are closed shut and her nose is scrunched up. Neru thinks she's cute.

Neru closes her eyes and let's Techi take the lead. they both ease into the kiss as Neru tilts her head to adjust to Techi's movements. Techi's lips are soft and warm and they fill Neru's stomach with love.

Techi deepens the kiss as she lifts one hand to cradle Neru's face. Neru is caught off-guard as Techi runs the tip of her tongue over Neru's bottom lip, asking for entrance. Neru let's out a hum of satisfaction and gladly complies by parting her lips.

when their tongues meet, Techi is hesitant but Neru is always there to reassure her. Neru reaches for Techi's free hand and gives it a squeeze. Neru thinks Techi tastes like mint and everything good in the world.

but then,

Techi steals the gum out of Neru's mouth and retreats.

they're both catching their breaths and Neru is still dazed as she reaches up to touch where her lips are still tinging.

this time, it's Neru's turn to blush. Techi is looking at her with newfound confidence and smirking while she chews her gum as if she wasn't just a blushing mess.

Techi reaches her arm around the back of Neru's neck and brings her closer to rest their foreheads together.

they both savor this moment as their hearts beat for each other.
