After breakfast Doniya was allowed to come out of her cage. I was jumping on the balls of my feet till she came into the room. I circled around her till she pulled me into a hug. I giggled as I hugged her, I finally get to spend actual time with her. Calum gave her some breakfast to eat. She ate it like she didn't eat in years.

"Son would you two like to go out to the zoo for the day?" My tail wagged back and forth at the mention of going out.

"Yes," I giggled happily. I looked over at Doniya, she didn't look to happy about going out. "Doniya it'd be fun, you get to see the outside world again."

"Fine Zayn," she sighs then puts a hand over my ear to whisper, "but we're escaping."

"I can't you know that. I can't without Li-Li." I whisper back.

"I am then, I'm going to find mum and dad. Then, I'll find a way to get you out of here." She whispers again.

I walked over to Liam, grabbing his hand and a kiss on the forehead. His lips smack together but he didn't wake up. I kiss his forehead one more time then lightly touched the small ear on his head, it twitched which made me giggle. I let go of his hand and went over to Calum and Doniya that were waiting for me.

We got into the back of his black car, Calum backed out the lot and drove down the road. I laid my head against my sister's shoulder, resting my hands in my lap. She grabbed my right hand and examines my tattoo. She traced it and told me it was cute. I don't know how long it took us to get to the zoo but we were finally there.

Calum pulled into a parking space, he got of the car so we followed up to the entrance. Calum told to stay close and don't run off while he bought tickets. I bounced on my toes as I wait for him to get back.

"Are you always this hyper?" My sister asks me.

"What do you mean?" I stop bouncing and tilt my head to the side.

"Nevermind little brother." She pats my shoulder and lightly laughs. Calum walks back over to us with three tickets in his hand.

"Ready." He beams, I give him a big smile and nod my head yes. We follow him into the zoo and first thing I spot is the monkeys. I run over there to look at them. "Zayn what did I say about not running off." Calum scolded me when he got back to me side. My ears flattened against my head.

"Sorry." He takes my wrist and drags me along with him.

I wasn't able to look at the other animals without him and Doniya was planning her escape. I tugged my wrist away from his hold, I didn't want to feel like a kid. I walked slowly over to the tiger's cage. I sat on a bench to watch the baby tigers play with one another. Calum sat next to me.

"You know, when you were little I gave you a tiger stuffed animal. You loved it so much but I took it away being the bastard that I was. I still have that tiger if you want it back."

"I guess, I'll give it to my baby when they are born." I turn to look at him with a small smile but he's has a confused look on his face. "I'm pregnant so I'll give the tiger to my baby."

"Oh I see, how far along are you?" I hold two fingers for two months. "Hmm, so son would you like to get lunch?"

"Yes but what and where."

"We'll find something, grab you sister and let go find some food."

After we ate and I wanted to take a nap so we went back to the lab. Donyia didn't get her chance to leave but she said she'll find a way. Shes allowed to stay out of her cage till Liam wakes up which really means that she can go home when I do. Calum found the stuffed tiger, it was very clean, I didn't think it would be.

I sat down next Liam, watching this liquid stuff go through a tube that was in his nose. I think that's how he was being fed. One of his arms twitched trying to move but that didn't happen because of the straps. I played with his fingers which calms him-I've notice- I had also placed the tiger in his other hand for him to squeeze if there was a shot of pain going through him.

"I love you Li-Li." I lean forward to kiss his forehead.

"Zaynie." A soft faint voice says. I pull away from his forehead to look at his face. His head moved side to side, lips moving. A loud beeping noise went off, I covered my ears with my hands and looked around trying to find where the noise was coming from. I notice it was coming from the other side of the table Liam was on.

Calum came running over, looking over at the machines. He started to look over Liam seeing what could possibly be wrong. I jumped off the table so I was out of his way. Ashton also came running into the room. Something was terribly wrong, tears had started to spring to my eyes.

"What did you do!" Ashton yelled pointing a finger in my face.

"N-n-nothing." I stutter and sob out.

"Well you had to of if the alarms went off. Liam woke up but now he's going to die because he's not done developing." He yelled.

"I-I d-didn't mean too." I fall to the ground, covering my eyes as I cried and curled into a ball. My Li-Li was dying because of me, I didn't mean for him to wake up, he wasn't supposed to hear me. Calum said he can't hear till his new ears were fully developed and they weren't yet they were still tiny and barely reached the top of his hair.

"He's dead you killed your husband, way to go pet now you have nothing. No family, no friends, nothing because they are all going to hate you for killing him!" Ashton yelled in my ear which made me cry harder. Where was Doniya when I needed her. I need her right now.
