Celia Vargas pov
"Hello everyone, I am Ethan Castillo and it's a pleasure to meet you all" it looked like he was searching for someone. I have to say, he is kinda cute and I really liked his dimples.
"Ethan, now you may take your seat and let's start the class" said the teacher. Suddenly Kim pushed Mia, the girl who was sitting beside her.
"Ethan, why don't you sit beside me? It's empty afterall" she said seductively. How could she? She yesterday break up with Ambrose and it didn't even took her a minute to flirt with a guy. Now I hate her more than I used to.
"Empty? Your booty took half of the place" said Ethan and then winked at her. I could tell, Kim was angry as hell, she thinks all the boys die for her, maybe not this one. Ethan was walking towards me, oh no is he going to sit beside me? Yeah the seat beside me was empty but there are other empty seats. I stare at my blank notebook, maybe he will leave if I act like I didn't see him.
"May I sit?" He was standing right beside me. For some reason he is making me nervous.
"No, someone is sitting here" I said with a low voice. He put his book on the desk. I told him to go, is he ignoring me?
"Ok, thank you" he said and sit besides me. Did he just really ignored me? I cannot believe he is so boorish.
"Class, today we are going to learn about Dream Analysis by Sigmund Freud, sometimes some dreams have meanings in it" said the teacher. Sigmund Freud should take a look at my dream. What meaning does a dream about a werewolf tells you? Maybe it is telling me that I fucking lost my mind.
"Well you are looking at a blank notebook, darling" said Ethan. Oh shit, I quickly close the notebook and look at my psychology book. He is kinda annoying.
"What's your name?" Asked Ethan. I don't want to talk to him, why is he trying to make small talks? I cannot let my guard down, I have to focus. Maybe if I tell him my name, he will stop talking.
"Celia Vargas" I said. My reputation is already going down. People are talking about me, including another person in it, is least my problem. If he says anything stupid, I will punch him in the face.
"People are suspecting you? I heard the news. Who found the body?" Said Ethan. Here we go again, maybe he thinks I killed Natalie. I am fade up with this people and why is he asking who found the body?
"It was Kim Aimes, she was the one to found the body and she accused me of murdering Natalie" I said. He should know the full thing, he should know about the manipulative Kim.
"Do you think Kim killed Natalie?" He said with a very low voice. Is he a detective? Why do he care? Now he is kinda creeping me out.
"No, they were besties. I don't think she will do anything like this" I said. I have no idea why did I defend Kim? But I am not like her, I cannot accuse her untill I am completely sure.
After that he was quite, we didn't speak during the class. He is handsome but kinda weird. My next class was biology with Jasper. I really don't want to dissect anything today. I enter the room and wear my lab coat and the gloves. I couldn't find Jasper, he was not sitting in his usual spot. Didn't he came to school today? Its going to be miserable then. I kinda felt sad because Natalie's place was empty, Hank her boyfriend was also absent. Maybe he couldn't take the pain after her death. Then I saw Jasper, entering the class. Where was he? He's never late. He looked sick, he had dark bags under his eyes and red nose. Or maybe he is just hangover.
"Hey, are you sick? Did you even sleep yesterday?" I asked. He put his lab coat on and settle down beside me, he started sneezing.
"Yes, I am sick. Many people asked me the same thing, god do I look that bad?" He said loudly for the whole class to hear.
"Yes it's very prominent. You should have stayed at home and take some rest" I said. He just nod his head. I was concerned about him, he looked really bad. After some minute, the teacher enter the class. Oh please no dissection.
"Today we are going to do an experiment to find out the difference between animal and plant cell" said the teacher. Thank god, it's not cutting open some animals or anything. The teacher gave us a microscope. We have to take cells from our cheeks and cells from an onion and then we have to stain them with Iodine for better understanding of the cell structures, under the microscope. We took a piece of the onion and stain it with Iodine. We saw cell wall and cell membrane and other stuffs.
"So whose going to give the cheek cells?" I asked. It doesn't hurt but I don't want to do it.
"I am sick, can you just do it? Please" he said. Yes, he is sick, now he will use that excuse for everything. I said okay. I took a cotton swab and gently scrape the inside of my mouth. I smeared the cotton swab on the microscope slide. We saw the same things as in the plant cell, except the cell wall. It was pretty fun and beautiful, I really enjoyed it. After that the bell rang and everyone get ready to leave.
"Hey, did you heard about the new student?" Asked Jasper. Yeah, not only heard, I have seen him. He was really weird, I don't know why but he was giving me a bad feeling.
"What about him? He is already getting so popular with his charisma" I said. He looked angry, that guy must have done something wrong.
"That bastard was flirting with my sister, I will break his fucking nose" he said. I wanted to laugh but I hold it back. Jasper has a problem, the guy he doesn't like, he will try to get them away from his sister. Kind of a protective brother I would say. I wish I had a brother. Suddenly we heard the sound of sirens.
