Celia Vargas pov
"Wait what you mean by changing my body?" I asked. Theodore was driving his car. I don't know where he was taking me. I am scared to be honest, what if everything goes wrong? If someone dies because of me? The guilt would eat me alive. Whatever he is in mind I hope it work. I have no idea what he meant by changing my body. Can anyone do that?
"I have a farm house, it's old and no one knows it's location. We can hide you their" he said with a serious look. Farm house? It doesn't matter that nobody knows it's location because Cerberus doesn't need that. Cerberus have that power to find me, I felt it, he is very powerful and thats why I am terrified of the consequences.
"You still didn't answer my question, how will you change my body?" I asked. If this thing has risk for others I will not let him do it. I have never felt this helpless before. I want to see my dad, not my real dad. My dad who always helped me and care for me, he is everything for me.
"Wait turn back the car, I want to see my dad" I said. Theodore stare at me with disbelief. He stopped the car. I know this sound stupid but I need to see him. I don't know what will happen to me, so for the last time I want to hug him and tell him that he is the best father in the world though I was never his daughter. I need to see him, I need to tell him goodbye. Because I have a feeling that I might not come back.
"Are you serious? Celia your father is fine, he is in a safe place" said Theodore.
"Please take me to him, I want to see him. Theo maybe this is the last time I see him" I said, putting my hand on top of his hand. He looked concerned.
"This is not your last time, you are going to survive" he said.
"I don't trust my fate so please take me to my father" I said. He sighed.
"Okay but don't take much time, we have to change your body before it's too late" he said. I nod at him. It's not going to take much time.
"I know a person, he is a necromancer and also a psychic. He knows an ancient ritual to put your soul into a dead body for some hours. That way we could protect you if you are not you Celia" said Theodore, his eyes fixed at the road. That's really scary and also kinda cool. Well I thought Necromancer can only talk to spirits. But wouldn't it will take some time to do the ritual? I hope everything goes by the plan.
"What will you do with my body?" I asked. If my soul transfer into a dead body, would my body become dead? Oh my god it's confusing.
"We will preserve your body somewhere safe, where no one can find it untill it's morning" he said. sounds fine to me. We just have to wait till morning, untill this blue moon is over. I check my phone's clock, 11 hours to go, until morning. I stare at the dark sky. What will happen? Will I be able to safe everyone?
After few hours we reached the local hospital. I left the car and walk towards the hospital gate. Theodore was walking beside me. There were so many people sitting on the chair, doctors and nurses were passing by. My anxiety grew.
"It's room 306, don't waste time" he said. We walk into the elevator. My heart was pounding with fear, I felt suffocating. I wanted to cry but also I don't want to be a weak crybaby. We leave the elevator and walk towards the room. We Stop in front of the room 306 and I take a deep breath. If he is awake, what will I say to him? He knows that I hit him, right? How can I tell him that I know everything?
"It's ok, just tell him a lie" said Theo. He is reading my mind in this type of situation, great. I open the door and enter into the room. Theodore stayed outside. My dad was laying unconscious with oxygen mask covering his mouth and the heart rate monitor beeping, his head was bandaged. A tear drop roll down my cheek. I did this to him? I can't believe this, I am a monster. I settle down beside his bed, holding his hand.
"I am so sorry dad, I am a terrible daughter, I wish I could change everything but I can't" I said. I don't think he can hear me. I lowered down and kiss him on his forehead.
"Thanks for taking care of me. I will safe you all. Goodbye dad. I am sorry but I can't stay long" I said. As I was walking out, Theodore walk into the room panting.
"There is something wrong, we need to leave now" he said. I nod and we leave the room. The lights were flickering and there was no one in the hallway. Something is definitely wrong. Where is everyone? I stare at Theodore, he looked angry.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Someone is here, I detect threat" he said with red glowing eyes. I heard footsteps too. It's more than one. Are we in trouble?
"Not tired yet?" It was female voice. Theodore growled. It was a women with two horns protruding from her head, her eyes were black. She licked her lips, her tongue was like a lizard, long and disgusting. What is she? I hate the feeling.
"Who are you?" Asked Theodore. The women laughed. Her laugh echoed through the empty hallway.
"That's none of your business" the voice came from behind. We stare at the voice. It was a guy, he also had the same features like the women. Are they here for me? Do they know Cerberus?
"Give us Celia and you can leave safely or we are going to break your bones one by one" said the guy. Okay so they are here for me.
"We should run" I said to Theo, through our mind link.
"Yes, but they are covering the elevator route and the stair route" said Theo, back through our mind link. They look powerful, he definately should not fight with them. There has to be a way. The emergency exit? I search for the emergency exit, every hospital has one. Bingo! It was there at the left corner. We can get their if we run fast or by causing distraction.
"I have got an idea, follow my lead" I said to Theodore through my mind. He didn't say anything which means he agree with me.
"So did Cerberus send you?" I asked. The guy chuckled.
"Obviously, now come with us as we are asking you very Sweetly" said the women looking angry.
"Run to the emergency gate, left corner" I said to Theodore.
"Not leaving you alone" he said. Is he serious? I took his hand and run towards the emergency gate. I heard growling. We open the gate and run down the stairs. The women jumped of the stairs and landed in front of us, she looked furious. Theodore's eyes turn red, his claws appeared. The women moan and started punching towards Theo. She was fast and sneaky. But Theo was doing his best to block the punches. Where did the guy go? I scan the room but couldn't find the guy. It could be a trap. Come on Theo! The women kicked him in his chest and he lose his balance. Theo stood up and hold her by head, then hit her on the floor. Suddenly the women vanished. What the heck? The light became low. This is bad. We should leave now. I was going to grab Theodore's hand when two large arms pull me back. I was unable to move.
"You should have listen to us" the women whispered into my ears. She was covering my mouth. No, it can't be. Theodore! Are they going to hurt him?
That guy jumped back at Theodore and wrapped a chain around his neck. Theodore was struggling for air. Tears started rolling down my cheeks. Tell me this is a nightmare.
