Chapter 5: a song of a broken soul part 3

Iwaizumi pov

"I'm sorry, Iwa-Chan, I can't take it anymore, living is shit and I should die.."

I stare at him, my eyes wide and takes the knife slowly from Oikawa's hand, "don't you say that Shittykawa!" I said, as he tries to take it back off me, "Iwa-Chan...", he sniffles, "I-", I sigh and kisses him softly, just to shut him up.

I could feel my heart beat quicken, just like it did in middle school. I've had feelings for this idiot for years, but I never showed it to him, "don't do this again, please", I whinced at the sound of me begging, but Oikawa didn't notice, he just looked at me blushing and nods.

~a few weeks later~

Oikawa wasn't at practice today, after school, which was weird because he never missed a practice, I knew the bullying and stuff, kept happening, but this should not stop him. The coach, asked me where he was and I said that he didn't know and forced me to find him. It wasn't until some girl, came in, that I knew something was wrong.

"Oikawa...he is...on...the...roof..", she breathes heavily.

I growl and runs to the rooftop. You could hear Oikawa from a mile away, saying, "this is what you guys wanted huh? Would me killing myself, satisfy you?"

I get to the rooftop and shouted, "Oikawa!"

Oikawa's pov

I spun around and looks at Iwaizumi, "Iwa-Chan, I'm sorry, I can't take it anymore", I say and pulls out a piece of paper and throws it to him, I watch him pick it up and saw his eyes widen, "you doing it to please, those people who beat you up and other unspeakable things?! You leaving me Shittykawa, when you promise you wouldn't!"

I never saw this side to Iwaizumi with some others, but I span around and stood on the ledge, I was about to jump off, when I felt hands pull me off and I was pulled into someone's arms. Iwaizumi's. He held me tightly and sobbed, "fucking idiot, don't scare like that...", I smile softly. "You...you make me happy, even if I don't show it, I love you Tooru and...and...you light up any room with that smile of yours and I miss that smile", he says and I bury my face into his chest.

I felt happy. Content. Iwaizumi smelt like home...

But of course, this happened a few years ago and some things happen....
