By the end of the week, Raghav managed to move into his new villa along with Sammy as his housemate. “ This villa is sick dude !!!! “ Sammy said as she looked around. It was a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa, with a kitchen, bar, hall, dining area, a small gym and a home office. There was even a pool and a small garden surrounding it. Raghav was very happy with it, his very own home, not that he did not like living with his parents, he wanted some kind of privacy on his own as well, I mean come on he was 30 after all. “ So when do we start at the company ? “ Sammy asked, as he poured himself a glass of Brandy from the bar, “ Tomorrow, dad wants us to meet him at the office, so he can introduce some of the company’s well know clients to us “ Raghav said taking a gulp of his Brandy, “ I’m going to bed , night “ Raghav said as he stood up, “ ok, night, I just take a swim “ Sammy said, Raghav nodded and headed upstairs to his room.

“ Morning Kalpu “ Pakhi said, as she came out from her room, “ morning, so what is your agenda for today ? “ Kalpi said as she folded the paper, “ agenda…wow “ Pakhi said, “ ha ha…so what is it ? “ Kalpi asked as she dug into her cereal,  “ Hmmmm…..well since I left my other job, I need to find a new one….Ooohhh guess what….yesterday I read online that that Singhania Construction Company is having a new CEO “ Pakhi said excitedly, “ Really ?? that means Vikram Singhania is retiring, so who is taking over ? “ Kalpi asked indifferently, “ If I’m not mistaken it’s his son Raghav Singhania, it seems he just came back from the States like a week ago and now is taking over “ Pakhi said. The moment Kalpi heard the name Raghav Singhania she stiffened “ Raghav Singhania ?? he’s back ?? “ Kalpi thought, “ Kalpu tum teek ho ? “ Pakhi asked, “ Huh…yeah…I’m fine “ Kalpi mumbled as she kept on eating her cereal. 

“ I’ll like you to meet Mr. Rakesh Kher and Mr. Rajiv Dutt, both of them are my very good clients, gentlemen, this is my son Raghav,  he’ll be the new CEO of Singhania Construction Company “ Vikram said as he introduced, “ and this is Samar Rizadaa, Raghav’s good friend and partner for this company “ Vikram added. All the gentlemen exchanged pleasantries, and started the discussing about the company’s future and what to aspect. Raghav later excused himself and headed for the washroom, when Raghav was done, he went to open the door and found it was locked , he tried pulling the door once more but it still did not budge, he then tried banging on the door. He fished around inside his pocket and found that he left the phone in the cabin, “ Dammit “ Raghav grumbled .

Kalpi was reading a book when her phone rang, picking it up she smiled at the number “ NAMASTE Uncle !!! …..” Kalpi said playfully, “ hahahaha…….still the same old Kalpi I know. “ Vikram said from the other line, Kalpi smiled, “ What can I do for you uncle? “ Kalpi asked, “ Ahhh…You know Raghav is back right ? “ Vikram asked, “ Really…ohh I did not know that “ Kalpi said as she rolled her eyes, “ yes he’s back for good and now is the new CEO for the company…..” Vikram said, “ so now uncle can relax and be with aunty “ Kalpi said playfully, “ ahahaha…yes…finally. Anyway, I would like you come here and meet him, after all you guys grew up together, I think it high time you guys reminisce those good old days “ Vikram said playfully. Kalpi shook her head, “ ok uncle, I’ll come…” Kalpi said, “ excellent, I’ll see you soon “ Vikram said and hung up. Kalpi looked at the phone, “ Reminisce about those good old days??….please uncle he hates me. “ Kalpi said to the phone, Kalpi sighed and got up and got dressed, “ since Pakhi is out…shopping again, I’ll guess I’ll take the bus “ Kalpi said to herself.

15 minutes later, Kalpi was looking up at the tall modernized building in front of her. After Raghav left for the State, Kalpi would always come and help Vikram when she came back for short holidays from college. Kalpi missed those days, maybe she should work here ? no…no…not when it’s Raghav Singhania as the CEO. Kalpi made her way inside the company, she did not have to stop at the receptionist because she knew where she was going. As the elevator doors closed, Kalpi took a good look at herself and got a shock, “ Oh Teri…. “ Kalpi mumbled, making her way out of the 10th floor she headed quickly to the washroom. Raghav was in the washroom when someone came in, opening his eyes he found that it was the girl that clouded his mind all day and night. Kalpi rushed to the mirror and fixed herself. After being satisfied she smiled and went to the door and pulled it open and found it stuck, pulling it again, Kalpi found herself stuck, “ It’s locked…so we’re stuck in “someone said. Kalpi quickly turned and found a man…well good looking man, sitting at the corner of the sink with his feet up on the trashcan, “ Really…oh I thought it was open “ Kalpi said sarcastically. Raghav was shocked at her reply, “ feisty “ Raghav thought and smirked. Kalpi leaned against the wall and crossed her arms and blew out a deep breath that she was holding and closed her eyes. Raghav looked at Kalpi, she was wearing a blue gypsy style long skirt, with a long sleeve white top which hand cutoff on her shoulders. She finished the look with a colorful scarf and black flats, Kalpi looked traditional yet modern. Kalpi felt someone staring at her, “ Take a picture, it last longer “ Kalpi said sarcastically as she opened her eyes and stared at Raghav with slit eyes. Kalpi sighed and looked at the door again, “ god how long do I have to wait ? “ Kalpi mumbled and she jiggled doorknob, “ there is phone here “ Raghav said in a bored tone, Kalpi turned around and looked at him “ and you tell me that now…..” Kalpi said annoyed.

Raghav was getting angry, he roughly picked up the phone and dialed for maintenance, after two rings someone picked up, “ yes this is Raghav Singhania, I seem to be stuck in the 10th floor washroom “ Raghav said. The moment Raghav said his name, Kalpi stiffed “ Raghav Singhania…. Him ?? ” Kalpi thought and looked back at him. “ He looks so different “ Kalpi thought. Raghav banged the phone down and looked at Kalpi, “ they’ll be here soon “ Raghav said tightly. Kalpi leaned her head back “ I have no time….I have to get out of here…before he know who I am “ Kalpi thought, just then Kalpi remembered something. Smiling, Kalpi took her hairpin and started picking the lock. Raghav saw what Kalpi was doing “ are you crazy !!!!?? I just said they will be here soon…” Raghav said getting angry at her attitude. “ I know…but how soon is soon ? By the time they get here, it will be the year 2020 “ Kalpi said sarcastically, and picked the lock, “ besides I don’t want to be here for that long, I got better things to do then just stay here and wait for your maintenance crew “ Kalpi added on. Just then the locked clicked open, Kalpi smirked and twisted the doorknob and pulled the door open and looked back at Raghav who had a shock look on his face. Kalpi heard someone running towards them, she turned and saw a guy running with the crew behind him, “ See ya “ Kalpi said and walked off.

Raghav was left in shock, “ Did she just insult me ? “ Raghav thought, just then Sammy came running into the washroom, “ dude….that was the girl…the girl…- “ Sammy was cut off, “ she insulted me !!!! “ Raghav blasted, “ what ? “ Sammy asked confused, “ that girl….she insulted me Sammy…I will not let her get away with it “ Raghav said angrily and walked out of the washroom. Sammy turned back and placed his hands on his hips “ what the hell happened in here ? “ Sammy thought and walked out.

Kalpi walked out of the company and looked back, she took out her phone and dialed Vikram’s number. He picked after two rings, “ Kalpi…kaha tum ? “ Vikram asked, “ I’m sorry uncle, I had and emergency, so I don’t think I can make it “ Kalpi lied smoothly, “ It’s ok bete..we’ll meet at Nina’s Sangeet, which is tomorrow right ? “ Vikram said, “ yes…tomorrow. Uncle I have to go, I’ll see you and aunty tomorrow “ Kalpi said, “ Ok beti take care “ Vikram said and hung up. Kalpi let out her breath that she was holding and looked back at the building, “ Sorry uncle, I’m just not ready to meet him yet “ Kalpi whispered.
