Kalpi was reading the papers when Pakhi came down " Morning Kalpu " Pakhi said cheerfully, " Your awfully cheery today... Gucci came out with a new bag again...it's only been a month since the other one came out ? " Kalpi said sarcastically, Pakhi placed her hands on her hips and looked at Kalpi " Very funny Kalpu....the reason I'm excited is that there is gonna be a party tonight hosted by John " Pakhi said excitedly, " John who ?? John Abraham ?? Then I'm there " Kalpi said in excitement, " No yaar, John Metha....you know the guy I once went out with " Pakhi said as she sat down beside Kalpi at the dining table, " and the same guy who broke your heart " Kalpi finished off and sat back " Pakhi why do you still keep going for these kind of guys ? It's not healthy " Kalpi said concerned for her friend, " I know...But John called me and told me that let the past be in the past and just be friends " Pakhi said, " Pakhi....don't tell me you are still hoping for him ? " Kalpi asked. When Pakhi did not answer, Kalpi knew " oh my god Pakhi !!!! " Kalpi said as she stood up, " I know...I know...but please Kalpi....just tonight...please " Pakhi pleaded, giving her best puppy-dog eyes, Kalpi looked at her best friend " Fine....but if he does anything to hurt you, we are out of there....." Kalpi said sternly, " oh thank you !!! thank you !!!!  Kalpuuu. !!! thank you !!! we need to go shopping " Pakhi said excitedly, " what !!! no !!! no!!! " Kalpi said backing up, " yes !!! yes !!! yes !!! " Pakhi said grabbing Kalpi and pulled towards the bedroom to get ready.

Raghav was at the airport to welcome Sammy. Raghav and Sammy met in college in the States, they quickly became very good friends. Sammy was more open and partying kind, he was the total opposite of Raghav who was more at home kind a guy and disliked many people around him, After sometime, Raghav saw Sammy, " RAGHAV !!! DUDE !!!!! " Sammy said cheerfully and gave him a bear hug, " Hey Sam. How was the flight ? " Raghav asked, " Good....I think. A lot of hot air hostess anyway " Sammy smiled brightly, Raghav shook his head and loaded the bags into his car and got in . " So what's new ? " Sammy asked in the car, " Nothing much, oh yeah my dad is retiring, and he wants me to take over the company " Raghav said, " that cool...." Sammy said surprised, " I'll need your help......" Raghav said, " I'm here for you bro " Sammy said as he relaxed in his seat.

" Pakhi....are we done yet...my feet hurt " Kalpi whined, " Oh come on...I need to be perfect " Pakhi said as she rummaged through the racks of the store. They have been shopping for the past 2 hours, and yet Pakhi could not find the perfect dress. Kalpi sighed and went to sit down at the sofa near the window of the shop and looked at her phone. Raghav was waiting for the traffic light to turn green, looking around, he spotted the girl which he saw that night at a shop looking at her phone. Raghav slowly straightened in his seat, " wow...check it out !!! " Sammy said excitedly, " she's pretty naa ?? " Sammy said again looking at Kalpi. Raghav sort of felt protective and possessive all of a sudden for the girl, even though he did not know who she was. Just then the light turned green, and the car's started honking, breaking out from his daze, Raghav accelerated and moved, with his mind never leaving her. " Who is she ?? why do I feel like I know her " Raghav thought.

" Pakhi !!!! are you done yet ?? " Kalpi asked, " Yes !!!!! come on " Pakhi said hurrying towards her, " Finally !!! " Kalpi said dramatically, Pakhi just laughed, " You should try stand up-comedy Kalpu, it suits you " Pakhi said, " why thank you kind sir " Kalpi teased and hurried out the store " hey...." Pakhi called and hurried after her laughing. " Stand still Pakhi...I'm almost done " Kalpi said, " hurry I have to pee " Pakhi said whining, " and you tell me that now !!!?? " Kalpi said, " Ahiyo rabba !!!! " Kalpi face-palmed herself " chal...go and pee " Kalpi said shooing Pakhi. After some of  fixing Pakhi's dress, they were all set for John Metha's party. They headed to Pakhi's car and got in and drove off.

John Metha house was lighted up, the music was blasting away and the drink were flowing. Pakhi parked the car and they both got out, " how do I look ? Ok ?? " Pakhi said trying to fix herself, " You look good " Kalpi said, thinking why Pakhi dressed up for a guys who broke her heart. They made their way to the house. Inside was packed with people, some of them Pakhi and Kalpi knew, most of them were John's friends. " Pakhi !!! " John said and he headed towards them and kissed Pakhi's cheek he then tried to kiss Kalpi's cheek " I prefer a handshake " Kalpi said sweetly yet sarcastically shaking John's hand and smiling. " Of course...well come on, the party is about to start " John said gesturing them outside to the garden. There Kalpi and Pakhi met with some of their old college friends. The night went on until John, tap the side of his glass, " Ladies and Gentlemen, can I have you attention ?  Thank You. Now I know you guys are wondering why I am having this party, well, I'm having this party to let you guys officially know that Suheri and I are getting married " John said happily. After the word marriage was said, Kalpi could feel Pakhi stiffen, " Pakhi......" Kalpi stared, before Kalpi could say anything, Pakhi ran out with tears in her eyes, looking back at John who was smiling, Kalpi shook her head and ran after Pakhi. Kalpi found Pakhi in the car crying, opening the door, Kalpi got in and closed the door, " Pakhi.......I'm so sorry " Kalpi said sadly, " No...no...Kalpu, you were right. What was I thinking, holding on thinking that he would come back " Pakhi sobbed harder, Kalpi just hugged Pakhi trying to sooth her " I'm so stupid...." Pakhi mumbled, " No...no...Pakhi look at me, you not stupid, he is. He can't see that he just lost the best thing that he ever had " Kalpi said hugging her tightly, " Come on let's go home, I'll drive " Kalpi said, as she started the car and drove back.

By the time Kalpi and Pakhi went home, it was late. Kalpi helped Pakhi to bed, " Thank you Kalpu...you're the best. I just hope I would find someone worthy of me " Pakhi said tiredly, Kalpi smiled and replied softly, " You will Pakhi I know you will, Bappa is there for you ".
