“ Got everything ?? “ Kalpi asked as she was packing her small bag. They soon came to junction and stopped for the lights, Kalpi looked out her window and came face-to-face with Raghav Singhania, Kalpi’s eyes grew wide, she quickly turned and pretended not to notice him. Raghav was driving with Sammy blabbing way beside him. Raghav got annoyed and turned his head and saw the person next to him in the car. Raghav watched them drive off, he was still in a daze, “ RAGS !!!!! “ Sammy yelled, “ Huh ?? what Sammy ? “ Raghav said annoyed, “ The light is green and everybody is horning “ Sammy said while  pointing at the back, Raghav saw the back through his rearview mirror and quickly and started his car and drove off. Raghav rubbed his forehead while driving, “ dude you ok ? “ Sammy asked, “ yeah…why ? “ Raghav questioned him back, “ It’s just that since yesterday you seem kind of distracted “ Sammy said. Raghav sighed, “ I’m fine “ Raghav said and kept on driving. In 15 minutes Raghav was in front of his parent’s home, he and Sammy got out and headed inside. “ Mom ? Dad ? “ Raghav called, “ Ahhh finally you’re here, quickly go and change, you to Sammy “ Gauri said, “ what’s going on mom ? “ Raghav asked, “ we are attending a friend daughter’s Sangeet ceremony, and you both have to come, no questions asked “ Gauri said sternly, Raghav groaned and so did Sammy, “ chal…go and change “ Gauri said shooing them upstairs. Both men dragged their feet upstairs to the respective rooms.

They all piled up in the car and headed for the Sangeet Ceremony.  10 minutes later they were at the Sinha residence where the Sangeet was taking place and got out, “ wow this is beautiful “ Pakhi said still in a daze, Kalpi smiled “ maa, papa, we’ll go and see the bride first “ Kalpi said and pulled Pakhi with her.

“ I hate this….” Sammy whined, Raghav nodded in agreement. They were at the Sangeet Ceremony for the past 5 minutes and Raghav was getting bored, because he did not know anyone here and mostly all the mothers were giving him the eye. Raghav parents were nowhere to be found. “ dude why is everyone looking at you like a piece of meat ? “ Sammy whispered, “ I have no idea, let’s go somewhere else….where it’s safe “ Raghav said pushing Sammy.
