“Okay Daddy, we promise… sorry Uncle Hitsu we’re sorry” they spoke in perfect sync and handed the screws and bolts back to Toshiro “Thanks girls” Toshiro secretly smiled before leaving and dragging Rangiku with him as she was squealing on how cute the twins were. “Right I better see if your mother is finished with that bath, I have a lot of work to do and daddy can’t play with your pair at any point today if this continues” Byakuya spoke quietly, earning two small groans and a little whining from the girls and he knew the response he would get thus is why he said it.
“(F/N) are you finished?” Byakuya asked “hmm…. Just getting out now” and before he could say anything he heard you yelp and he rushed in the bathroom just in time to see you slip on one of the twins bath toys and he caught you, before you fell “Sheesh that gave us a scare” you huffed as you placed a hand on your swollen nine month pregnant stomach. “I will have a thorough talk with them both, I’m glad I got here in time to help you and the child” he added quietly, Byakuya was never one to show much emotion but when it came to his wife Mrs. (F/N) Kuchiki and his twin girls Skye and Sadie it was a different story.
Byakuya wrapped a towel around you and the proceeded to help you to the bedroom, on the way to the bedroom, you were suddenly engulfed in a sharp pain, but you never thought much of it, as you thought it could’ve been the shock from almost falling and injuring you and your unborn child, until it happened again, at this point Byakuya noticed the pained expression on your face and picked you up bridal style and gently placed you on the bed, “I’m going to be a few minutes” he then threw you one of his baggy shirts to put on then he left. Like he stated he was only a few minutes, which felt like an eternity to you, as the short burst of pains were becoming more frequent, your husband walked up to the bedside with a doctor and nurse in toe. You were actually quite calm at this point after soon realising what his all meant… your child was arriving.
*Time skip*
After many hours in pain and all that pushing taking placing you were finally getting somewhere, the doctor and nurse told you to give one more push, and at that point you yelped “You bloody said that five fricking pushes ago, what do you think I am?” annoyance clearly tainted your voice. The reason being was because you were tired of them repeating the same damn thing over and over again “Oh and one more thing, if you tell me to breathe again, once I’m done I’ll make sure you stop…” you were cut off as another jolt of pain coursed through your body.
Byakuya couldn’t help but chuckle at your behaviour, as he was fed up of listening to the same thing as well. Giving one almighty last push, the doctor cried out “Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Kuchiki it’s a boy!” You heavily sighed with relief as you slumped back completely exhausted from the whole ordeal, Byakuya genuinely looked very happy and relieved to see you weren’t in pain anymore, “Mr. Kuchiki would you like to hold your son” the nurse said bringing the newborn back over to the parents location as he was being sorted out.
Byakuya held his arms out eager to hold him. The female doctor was finished with cleaning you up and covered you up, smiled “We will leave you in peace now” she said motioning to the nurse as well before the door quietly clicked shut leaving you, your husband and newborn son alone. “It’s a good job Toshiro, Rangiku, Skye and Sadie took a liking to each other” you giggled breaking to the silence. Byakuya hummed in response and he came over to you place a gentle kiss on your lips “Well done, my lovely” before handing you the little squirming boy in your arms.
“Hello Eric, I’m your mummy and this is your daddy” you hummed to your son and he looked up and giggled at you both. “It’s strange you know” Byakuya said out of the blue, “What is?” you replied without looking away from Eric “Skye and Sadie look exactly like me but have your personality, Eric looks exactly like you… so does that mean he will have my personality” he answered thoughtfully, you looked up and glanced at your husband before chuckling at his thought, “It wouldn’t surprise me two mini looking you and a mini looking me sounds amusing but no disrespect darling, I would rather have it that way, at least I can handle one mini you personality wise” you laugh out before letting out a yawn.
“Eric you’re going to daddy now mummy’s a little tired” you yawn again placing a kiss on your newborn and handing him to Byakuya, your husband gave you a heated kiss before whispering “I love you” and letting you fall into a blissful slumber. We are a beautiful family, Byakuya whispered to his new son.
