chapter 3

A week passes, and Skyler becomes a regular. Soon, Skyler doesn't even have to ask what they want. Jai already remembers.
    Its closing hours, as Jai closes the door, the cool evening air still shivers down his spine. Just like how he flinches when he sees Skyler come into the shop. Unfortunately, they didn't come today. His fantasies come back to him.
    If only I was able to talk to them. I would love to get to know them better...
He took out his phone and checked the weather for tomorrow. The small blue screen displayed it would be really nice on saturday.
    Maybe I could go take a swim.

    The next afternoon he went to the pool. It was packed with smiles and people. He clenched his bag, hoping no one would notice him.
    He changed into a swimsuit and took off his shirt. It was really really hot out, probably hotter than the app said. He slowly peeked out from inside the boys locker room, checking if there was anyone he knew there. Saw a few families, foreigners, usual customers. No one he thought would recognize him in particular. Without hesitation, he got into the nice cool pool.
    After a few tyring laps across the pool, he finally submerged from the water to catch a breath. Jai placed his wrinkled hand on his neck, his back aching. I'm too skinny. I need to work out more. The sun shone its warm rays over him.
    "JAI?!"
    "Hm?"
    It was Skyler, burying their face in their hands from embarrassment. They was also with Charlie, who was looking like a child, jumping up and down from excitement. "SO THIS IS THE GUY YOUR WERE TALKING ABOUT?!!"
    But Jai didn't hear what she said, as he already took a deep breath and went into the water. OH CRAP! Maybe if I stay in the water enough, they won't see me?! He shaked in fear and embarrassment. Once he couldn't take it anymore, he swam back up and ran to the boys locker room.
    "Ohmygodohmygodohmygod!" He whisper shouted. He wish he could just hide in a locker, but he knew he was too tall to fit. I just hope no one else I know comes over...
    After a few minutes of him staying in the locker room, he changed back and took everything. His fingers as wrinkly as ever, he peeked again. The crowd has become smaller, not many people were left. But Jai was still not sure if Skyler was there. He slowly started to creep out of the locker room, praying no one would see him. Thankfully no one did, as Skyler and Charlie had vanished.

btw,,, sorry for the bad stories. i just wanted to actually make a story of my characters within this universe ive made... because i wish they were real. and i know a few of my (maybe) friends (idkwhattheythinkofme) might want to see it- (butimeanikindashoveditinwhichwasabigmistake) so thats why i posted this.
