They buried their face into the pillow. Skyler never really thought about finding someone to live the rest of their life with. They just planned to live alone in an apartment, maybe with a roommate, but never with a partner. Until now, Skyler's mind is looping around thinking about Jai.
I don't even know him that well! How can I apologize if I don't even know if he's expecting an apology?
Skyler jumped out of their bed pacing back and forth to see if some idea would come to mind. Nothing. They gave up and just walked to the kitchen to see if they could get their mind off him.
They sat down on the island and looked around. They then spotted the shiny, silver cupcake pan, shining in all of it's... non-existent glory. But it sparked some gears in Skylers brain.
I hope he likes them!
