Rose and I got off the bus and walked into the department store but barely made it through the doors before Rose's boss had wrapped her arms around my waist.

"Poppy! Rose didn't tell me you would be here! How are you? Are you staying?" She asked me quickly after pulling away leaving me uncomfortable and tense. She's a nice person and all but I don't like people touching me unless I'm very close to them. I shook my discomfort away and cleared my throat before giving her a smile.

"Hi Kassie! I kinda only decided to come yesterday-" I lied, Rose and I had planed this 2 weeks ago. "I'm staying in London for a month this time so you should be seeing a lot more of me for a bit." I told her, swiftly ignoring the 'how are you?' As I don't like answering that to people outside of my little bubble of trust worthy people. She looked at her watch and her eyes widened.

"Well, I best not keep you two any longer, door open in about 5 minutes, you two better get over to clothing quickly and settle in." She said before ushering us to clothing and going to talk to another staff member.

"Didn't you tell her you didn't like people touching you?" Rose asked curiously as she heard my talk to her boss about the hugging last time, however my request for her to stop seems to have been ignored.

"I did. This is why I only talk to a few people! Most humans can't seem to follow basic requests. I don't understand why humanity was allowed to get this far with so many ignorant people." I rambled to Rose who giggled at my discomfort and frustration before we both got to work(even though I didn't actually have to work) until lunch.

--------------

Rose and Mickey just left for lunch and I was walking around the city before I went into some back alleys. There was a steep path onto the roof that would take some skill to get me there but luckily that won't be a problem. I could just, in a sense, 'teleport' or more accurately, 'glitch' onto the roofs but where's the fun in that? I jumped onto a large trash bin lid before jumping and grabbing a low bar hanging down on the opposite wall. I hurled myself up and started climbing up before reaching the roof, I calmly walked over to the edge of the roof that faced the streets and smiled.

"Let see what you have to offer this time London." I mumbled to myself before backing up and turning to the left and starting my rooftop adventure.

---------------

I was minding my own businesses jumping from roof to roof, when something caught my eye though making me stop. A blue police box just like what I got tattooed on the back of my neck. I tilted my head at it before climbing down a pipe that ran from the roof down on a back corner of the building and walking into the ally in front of the strange, almost navy, blue box. I slowly approached it and looked around before placing my hand on it before jumping back when a word popped into my head.

"TARDIS." I whispered as I placed my hand back on the box only to feel the vibrations of the newly discovered spaceship.

"T-A-R-D-I-S, time and relative dimensions in space. You're a long way from home. What are you doing here old girl?" I mumbled getting a sad hum in response as clips of the time war flashed through my head, I bow my head in a moment of silence for the time lords that lost their lives.

"I'm sorry about your sisters. I wish I could have stopped it but we know I can't alter the past without risking the future." I said quietly, voice cracking lightly as a tear slid down my cheek. A comforting hum sounded under my hand making me smile, it was nice to get some comfort from someone who knows how I feel. I can't save the people I want but I can give their spirits another chance of life somewhere else.

"I'd better get going girl, I'll hopefully see you again soon. Good luck on you and your thief's travels." I said to her as she gave a sad but accepting hum making my put my hand on her door for a moment before slowly walking away with a sad smile gracing my face. I wiped my eyes and made my way back down the streets to the department store once again to wait for Rose and Mickey to get back from lunch.
