"Jacelyn," I swear my mom has said my name at least 27 times since I woke up.

"I'm up, I'm up," I holler, clearly aggravated with her. I stand up off my bed, walk out of my room, and head to the kitchen for breakfast. When I enter the kitchen I see my sister sitting at the table, mindlessly staring at her phone and my mom across the hallway in the laundry room. I wonder in there and ask her what she was repeatedly screaming my name for.

"Oh, there you are Jacy. I was beginning to wonder if you'd ever get up," she says as she reaches her arm out to give me a hug, and I return the hug.

"It's the weekend, you should know I'm going to be sleeping late, I don't have that opportunity during the work week, and besides it's 10 on a summer morning," I inform her. She rolls her eyes at me and I dismiss myself from the laundry room and head back to the kitchen.

"You're so lazy, I swear all you do is sleep," Abby, my sister greets me as I walk to the pantry to get cereal.

"Well, good morning to you too, brat," this kid gets on my nerves more than anything sometimes.

"Are you going out with your friends tonight Jacy? If so, I'm having my friends over,"

"I don't know I guess," I say while I'm stuffing my mouth with a handful of Trix cereal. "Why do I have to be gone in order for you to have friends over in the first place? I'm not that embarrassing."

Abby snarls her nose at me and answers my question, "Uhm, yes you are pretty embarrassing. I mean come on it's almost 11 in the morning and here you are in your old pajamas stuffing Trix in your mouth."

I pour my cereal in a bowl, along with milk, thinking of something clever to say, but I have nothing. I give her an evil glare and she returns one back at me.

"Have nothing to argue now do ya?"

"I'm not embarrassing I'm a 17 year old teenager and this is normal not embarrasing thank yourself. You're quite embarrassing yourself."

"Am not?"

"Are you seriously pulling the 'am not, are so' argument? Because if so I'm not arguing with you. Just know you're pretty embarrassing," I say as I grab my bowl, look at her outfit, and start to walk out of the room. "Oh yeah, your fly's unzipped," I laugh. I walk down the hallway to my room and shut the door behind me.

I sit on my bed and unplug my phone, eating on my cereal while I text my friends, greeting them with a good morning text.

I instantly get a text back from Davis

*Morning Jace, we hanging today

I put my half-eaten cereal bowl on my nightstand, and text him back

*Yeah, I'm up for driving around and eating out for dinner tonight. Do you want to?

I put my phone down and look through my closet first. I swipe my sunset blvd tank top off the hanger and head over to my drawers. I open the third drawer and pick out some white shorts. Do I wanna wear white shorts? No, especially not with Davis. I go back over to my bed and have multiple texts from Davis.

*Duh, you know I'm up for that anytime.
*Where do you wanna eat? I'm thinking Applebee's, but maybe something else. We'll decide later
*I'm getting in the shower. I'll be over there in an hour, is that cool?
