Adam and I leave the house after we're both ready. I have no idea where we're going but hopefully it's fun. I turn on the radio and keep wondering the possibilities of places he could be taking me.

"Will you please give me a hint of where you're taking me? Like what county or something, please? Because I'm really wanting to know."

"You can't help but always wonder about anything and no I can't give you any hints because this is a surprise for you birthday, silly," he playfully punches me and turns his focus back on the road.

We've been driving for about 2 hours and we're somewhere in Georgia.

"How much longer? I have to pee really bad!"

He laughs," You're worse than a kid, did you not go before we left?"

"No, how much longer, Adam!?"

"Close your eyes for a minute and when I pull in I'll let you uncover your face and you'll see," I cover my eyes, and it feels like twenty minutes more than it does a few minutes. I guess we pulled in wherever we're at because he's stopped the car.

"Open your eyes," I uncover my eyes and see we're at the trampoline jump park! I know, I know. I'm eighteen and this is childish but this place is so much fun.

"Holy heck! Yes, Adam. You're freaking amazing!" I lean over and kiss him before we get out. We go in and Adam pays for our admission.

We take our shoes off and head to the trampolines first. I get on before Adam does so I start jumping. Adam still hasn't got over here get so I turn around and he's taking pictures.

"Adam quit it!" I laugh and run over to him. He puts his phone down in my purse and puts it in the locker. He turns towards me, I was expecting a hug but instead he throws me over his shoulder and takes us to the jumping pit. The jumping pit is where you can run, jump, flip, anything you want, into this big deep hole full of cubes.

"How about a competition?" he asks me.

"I don't really know Adam. I know your cast is off because you took it off but I don't want you to hurt your arm."

"I'll be fine, I promise! But the competition is to see who can do better flipd and have better landings."

"Alright. That sounds pretty fun. You can go first though!"

"Uh no you can, goof!"

I go first and do two cartwheels and then a front flip into the pit. I unbury myself from the cubes and Adam is at the side waiting for me to help me out. I grab his hand and he pulls me.

" Great job, but I can do it better," he says in a northern accent. He's referring to one of my favorite episodes of Impractical Jokers.

He goes to the start of the mat and does the same thing I did but when he goes to jump he does a flip. I help him out of the pit.

"Show off," I laugh and he kisses me on the cheek. We head over to the trampolines and jump. Adam stops jumping before I do and he goes back to the lockers to get his phone out. Of course. Probably texting Blondie.

I need to quit thinking so negatively.

He sits down, and I just continue jumping and doing flips. I get tired and turn around to walk back and once again he's been taking pictures. Ugh, this boy.

I walk over to him and we both agree we're ready to leave and he says he has some other things planned to do.

We drive for about ten minutes and we're in the parking lot of a steak and sushi place. Oh my word, Adam knows everything I love.

"Adam! Yes I've been craving this forever!" once again I lean over to kiss him before we get out.

We go in and tell them we want to sit at the grill. Adam and I wait for a few minutes and we're finally seated with another family. The guy tells jokes as he cooks the food in front of us. We enjoy the food and before I'm done a crowd and men and women come marching my way with drums and one has a guitar.

No. He. Didn't.

They start singing happy birthday and they don't stop until you get up and dance. I cover my face with my hands out of embarrassment.

Why, Adam, Why?

I get up out of my seat and throw my hands in the air and shake my hips. They finally stop playing after my goofy dance moves. Someone comes out with little cakes on and plate and gives them to me. Me and Adam share them and then leave. When we get outside we see that it's dark and he says we'll go home and do the rest tomorrow.

°°°°°

I guess I fell asleep on the way home, because I wake up to Adam carrying me to the back yard. He sits me in a chair and I can't see anything there's no lights. He tells me to hold on, and that he'll be right back.

Lights. All over the place. Multicolored ones and gold and white ones.

Adam steps back outside with me on the deck. I continue looking around and I see a tent and fire pit.

"Adam, this is beautiful! What is all this?"

"We're sleeping out here tonight, babe" he kisses me and walks over to the fire pit to start a fire.
