My Tears Are Becoming A Sea
I'm on my way
I'm on
I'm on...💜
Sam"Tyler, you've been staring at that man for 20 minutes and in those 20 minutes, you could've been talking to him instead of making me, a lesbian, suffer in silence.", I say to the boy beside me, leaned up against the wall as he looks on at another boy a few feet away, talking to a group of friends.
"I'm sorry, Sam, he's just- ah, I couldn't talk to him."
"And why is that, Ty?", Alex asks.
"Like, what if he's not gay? Or bi? Or pan? Or even curious?"
I look over at him myself, noticing his fashion of cuffed jeans, a beanie and an open flannel shirt. I then begin humming the intro of Sweater Weather, making Alex laugh.
"You really think so?", Tyler asks.
"I know so."
Then, my phone rings, and I sigh in relief. "Aah, an escape from this torture!"
"Lucky hoe.", Alex says, and I laugh at their statement as I walk away to answer the phone.
"Hey, Billy Boy, what's up? Everything okay?"
"Uh, not really, no. I think Skye might be in danger."
"What? What's happening?"
"I found this list yesterday. It kinda seemed like a suicide note and that she was going to attempt yesterday, but she came home and promised me that it wasn't that deep. But I don't trust her and I'm worried about her seriously hurting herself."
"Jesus Christ. Did she go to school today?"
"She did, I stayed with her until she went in."
"Good. I was talking with her last night and she seemed fine, a bit annoyed about the hair but fine otherwise. Jesus, I didn't realize she was this bad."
"It's okay, Sam. Neither did I. I'm just keeping a close eye on her whenever I can. Should I ask Eimear to do that in school?""I don't know. She's already done so much that she was probably too young to handle." I sigh. "Anyways, I'll see ye in a few hours. I'm picking ye up from school."
"Ooh! Can we go get ice cream?"
I roll my eyes. "Okay, Billy, we can get ice cream. I'll see ye soon."
"Yay! Love ya, see you later!"
I end the call and put it away, seeing Alex trying to push Tyler towards the boy. I chuckle at the sight of them bickering and start heading back to my dorm to get my stuff.

I walk out of the shop, heading to the field where everyone is hanging out. Eimear and her friends, Billy and Faye arguing over something, and then Skye sitting on a bale. I go over to her, handing her a Monster.
"It almost matches the hair.", I comment, making her smile slightly.
"Fuck off. Come up here."
I jump up onto the bale, opening my Coke bottle and taking a sip before speaking.
"How's school going?"
Asshole question, I know. But better than scaring her away.
"Okay. I passed out in PE on Wednesday though."
"What? How?"
"We were running laps and doing other intense stuff, and I didn't take off my jumper or drink any water when I should have. Everyone laughed at me. The video was pretty funny though, I must admit."
"Someone posted a video?"
"Yep, on a public Snapchat story though, so not many people saw it. No one really cares about those. Or fainting videos."
I frown. "Skye, you need to take care of yourself."
"Well, I'd rather a video of me falling be posted everywhere than a photo of my arm, honestly.", Skye snaps slightly.
"Okay. How's things with Mam?"
"Good. She's obsessed with Billy. 'Oh, he's so handsome! How does he not have a boyfriend?' I can think of a few reasons why."
"This a thing with straight and bi Casey women or something?"
"Fuck off, that was so embarrassing!", she groans while pushing me slightly.
"Hey, I got a girl pregnant on my first time, we all have embarrassing stories in that department."
"Not comparable, I'm asexual."
"Oh, yeah. Lucky."
Skye chuckles. "How? I'm broken in every way, including that way."
"Shush, you're not broken. Asexuality doesn't make you broken.""Shut up.", I hear her mumble after a few seconds of silence, as she hangs her head down into her hand.
After a few moments, I take a breath and say, "Is there anything I can do to make Her go away?"
She quickly snaps her head in my direction, her eyes wide. "What?"
