DILEMMAS
Tegan’s Dreamscape
Turlough grimaced as Tegan kept kissing him. Re-doing buttons that she had undone. Pushing her away and dodging her. She just seemed to find his reluctance funny instead of annoying and chased him whenever he ran off. Why couldn’t she take a hint? What could he say that would stop her? It was taking it far too far. In his persistent struggle Turlough knocked down the bin.
“Come on, darling?” Tegan giggled as she made another grab for his shirt front, “there’s no need to be shy!”
“I am not being shy!” Turlough snapped, he pushed her hands away from his person, “honestly,” toning down his voice to sound gentle in his put down, “but I would feel like I would be taking advantage of you!”
Standing stock still Tegan widened her mouth in shock then guffawed loudly, clutching hold of her stomach, falling to her knees as the laughter completely overtook her entire body.
“Don’t you think it is a little bit late for that?”
What was she on about? Turlough frowned, “Tegan?” he asked slowly, narrowing his eyes, suspicion came naturally to him and right now he did not like the way Tegan looked, “I’m warning you!”
Tegan could not stop staring at Turlough, he did not like the way her eyes were shining brightly. Taking his hand she guided it to her womb. “The reason for our quick marriage...”
“No!” he exclaimed immediately removing his hand like it scorched his palm. “Tegan, you must be joking!”
Turlough glared at her but her expression conveyed anything but humour. She truly was...
“I have already thought of what he must look like!” she stated. “Spikey red hair and my eyes!”
Turlough gulped. Doctor, he thought, please, Doctor where are you? Why didn’t you land with us? We need you before this goes too far... And why me, Tegan? Didn’t you know anyone else that could be with you? Another man before you met me? A high school crush? Tall, dark, good looking with a dimpled chin and big bright eyes and rippling muscles... That sort! What have I done recently that you...
Again, are you sure that you aren’t the one dreaming this? There was no one from Trion that was particularly interested in you, was there? You have always been the nasty, freckley ginger kid that no girl on either planet wanted to be seen dead with, haven’t you? Now you have the gorgeous Tegan Jovanka to yourself - No Doctor, no distraction - and you want to don’t you? Deep down inside you really want to!
Go away, he gritted his teeth. “Tegan, please, this is all too perfect, you must see that!”
Tegan giggled grabbing him by his shirt front, “I know that is what makes it so dreamy!”
“TEGAN, LISTEN TO ME,” he roared, she did actually back off slightly at the look of anger in his blue eyes. “I want nothing more than for us to be married, live somewhere like this, and have children but...”
Tegan took advantage of his hesitation as she advanced towards him backing him against the corner of the wall. Imprisoning him in the gap, continuing to prowl like a tigress advancing on her prey, Turlough could imagine her licking her lips.
“So, what is the problem then?” she murmured huskily, “if you want it why do you not come and get it?”
Go on, Turlough, give in. She is offering herself so freely. At least you can go your sad way saying that, for a brief moment, you were married to the sexiest woman in the universe. Something that you can say with a hundred percent conviction as you have seen others and know it to be true!
