Part 2
"Such a bitch."
Luhan gasped quietly, jaw dropping as he turned to Sehun. "What?"
Sehun's eyes were dark as he turned back to Luhan. "She always needs to involve herself in anything other than herself."
"Other than herself?" Luhan echoed, baffled. "What, a conversation between us?"
Sehun's jaw tightened once more, then relaxed. "Precisely."
Luhan knew he was lying, and he wasn't convinced. "Look, if she doesn't like me then just say so."
"Quite the opposite," Sehun growled, starting to walk again. Luhan frowned, skittering after him.
"What? She has a crush on me?" His heart clenched at the thought; did that mean Sehun was jealous?
"No."
Rats. "Then what is-"
Sehun stopped abruptly, and Luhan attempted to skitter to a stop. Tripping over his own feet, he dropped his chips bag and fell forward. A pressure on his stomach caught him, slightly knocking the wind out of him. Luhan shook his head and glanced to his left, realizing Sehun had somehow- what, teleported to the side? Sehun's hand rested on Luhan's stomach, gingerly holding him in place.
In one swift motion, Luhan was pulled in front of Sehun. Luhan couldn't help but gasp, clutching Sehun's sweater as they touched chests. Sehun's sturdy hand travelled around his waist and slowly caressed it's way up, under his crop top. Luhan shivered once again, grasping Sehun's hoodie tightly as Sehun's smirk showed again.
"Y-You're cold."
Sehun's smile fell, and after a moment his hand dropped from under the shirt. Luhan was able to take a step back and take a deep breath, the ache in his chest making him realize he held his breath.
"I'm sorry."
"No, no, I don't know why I said that," Luhan murmured, realizing he was clutching his sandwich- he was starving. "Oh, right."
Sehun chuckled lightheartedly as he leaned against a wall, watching Luhan open the tinfoil and taking a bite. After a moment's pause, Luhan leaned against the wall too, carefully avoiding Sehun's eye. Such a handsome guy, mysterious... getting this close to him was nearly intoxicating.
"She's jealous of me, not you."
Luhan glanced sideways, nearly choking on a crumb as he met Sehun's gaze. His expression was kind, calming, but his tone bitter as he continued, never breaking eye contact.
"She's loved by everyone, but rarely does she share similar feelings to others. Even to her own family; she's always wanted to be solo, but the thought... never quenched her thirst. No matter what she did, Irene never grasped anything close to what we have."
"What is it?" Luhan could barely raise his voice above a whisper. Sehun watched his face, then slowly leaned in. Luhan stayed frozen but instinctively glanced down to Sehun's lips, rosy as ever and doing that damn smirk again. Instead of going for his lips, however, Sehun rested his cheek against Luhan's and breathed in. Luhan shuddered as Sehun grinned, something cold resting against his neck, directly on his pulse.
A fang.
"Connection."
The bell rung, and Luhan nearly screamed out loud. Sehun was somehow standing straight again, face smooth as the door opened and students poured into the hallway. Luhan's heart was racing, and he was colder than ever. With a start he realized he forgot his jacket at the lunch table. Sehun suddenly appeared next to him, grabbing his elbow gently and leading him inside the empty classroom. They got to a station, Sehun's grip still on Luhan's elbow.
