--Unknown POV--

“Alright I want you to guarding the south wing.” Pierce said walking passed me

                                                  “Yes sir.” I said

“Jax don’t let anyone in.” Pierce said looking at Jax

He nodded “Yes sir.”

We turned and walked out of the room and towards the south wing.

“Do you think anything is going to happen?” I asked looking at him

He looked at me as we stopped and stood by the door “Knowing them, yes.”

I sighed “I just hope Isis doesn’t do anything stupid again. We risked a lot getting her out of here.”

“I can’t believe she got captured. That doesn’t sound like Isis.” He said

“Hey Ruby, Jax how’s the baby?” Milton asked smiling at us

I smiled placing a hand on my belly “He’s doing just fine.”

Jax placed his hand over mine with a smile “He’s got the Smith blood in his genes Milton.”

Milton nodded with a smile “Can’t wait to welcome the little guy.”

“Neither can we.” I smiled

We watched as Milton walked down the hall and disappeared around the corner.

“What happens if a fight breaks out? Like what if The Reapers come back?” I asked

Jax looked at me “Then you stay by my side the entire time.” I nodded “I mean it Ruby, don’t leave my side. I can’t protect you if you do.”

“I promise I’ll stay by your side.” I said

About twenty minutes later we heard Mike heading our way. Jax pushed me up against the wall and before I could ask what the hell he was doing, he kissed me holding my hips, pulling us closer together. I wrapped my arms around his neck kissing him back and from there things started to get heated.

“Get a room.” Mike said

Jax slowly pulled back “We would if we didn’t have to stand guard since your lazy a-ss can’t do sh!t.”

Mike glared but didn’t do anything “Just you wait boy, I’ll get you.” Then he walked away

“He won’t last three minutes.” I whispered and Jax nodded in agreement

A couple hours later…

An explosion sounded towards the west wing causing me to look at Jax.

“It’s happening.” He said

I turned my back to him and looked down the hall hearing a set of footsteps. I pulled out my gun and aimed it down the hall. Gun fire sounded and Jax pulled me back behind him, putting me between him and the wall. Before I could ask what he was doing a gun was pointed at his face as Isis dropped down from the ceiling.

Grabbing a hold of his arm I whispered “Jax…”

He moved his arm behind me placing his hand on my side making sure I was pressed against him and the wall.

“It’s okay baby.” He said staring at Isis

“You suck at security.” She said smirking
