STORY DESCRIPTION:

JUNIPER FOX grew up with her only intention being to go into the army. Her mother had went, her father had, even her older brother had, and she wasn't going to break that chain. And so Juniper prepared herself for what would come across her. Her father―︎having been an old army sergeant―︎ trained her until she could barely move. He pushed her until she wasn't almost at a breaking point. And as soon as she turned seventeen, she applied and was sent off to war.

In Juniper Fox's life, there was no time to be weak. There was no time to cry, to be angry, to feel emotion. She had to push through, she had to make her family proud and she did just that. But it cost her her humanity. She stopped caring about others, she never showed emotion, Juniper Fox was a soldier that was molded into a perfect sculpture and that's what was wrong with her. She stopped caring, and she got her family killed.

A month after coming home from war was when the apocalypse started. Not only was Juniper dealing with PTSD from war, but now she was dealing with people coming back from the dead and trying to eat her organs from her body. And her only goal was to survive. She saved herself instead of her parents who were screaming as they were being bitten by the vicious geek's.

It was when she stumbled across a group of people that things slowly―︎very slowly―︎ started to change for her. Glenn Rhee was a young boy―︎the same age as Juniper―︎who was still optimistic (well, as optimistic as you could be in a zombie apocalypse) and still smiled through all the treacherous shit that was going on around them. He and Juniper were polar opposites, she was closed off and stayed to herself, he was around helping as much as he could. And Glenn was something she needed. He was someone that could help her feel what it meant like to care again, to smile again. And hopefully, he would be the reason why she didn't just light a smoke signal and let the walkers take her. Maybe, he was going to be her savior.

NOTES:

━︎Okay, so basically Junipers family SUCKS. Her father was a commander in the army, and he trained Juniper from the age of seven up until she got her acceptance to the army.

━︎Juniper serves for two years before coming back home about a month before the pandemic starts.

━︎Because of the way she was treated as a kid, she has severe trust issues. Her brother was always praised for everything seeing as he was older and could complete tasks much earlier than she could.

━︎Juniper just kinda left her family to die when their home/city got invaded. She didn't even look back when she heard their screams, and it makes her have a guilty conscious have of the time.

━︎She believe that there's no changing her, that she was always going to be a hard cold bitch that didn't really show much emotion, but Glenn proves her otherwise.

━︎The reason why this is called savior, is because Glenn basically saves Juniper from herself.

━︎Junior is really good when it comes to throwing knives. She gets her target 99% of the time.

━︎I imagine this story to either be a medium burn or a slow burn, seeing as she has trust issues and all.
