**sams pov**
that night i couldnt sleep at all. i had had a crush on emily since i first met her i just knew that there was nothing i could do about it. she was with cameron and cameron was one of my closest friends. as much as i told my self i had to get over it i couldnt. her laugh, her smile, i didnt know what to do.
i went to go to the kitchen to get a snack before trying to fall asleep. when i got down there i saw jack johnson
"dude what are you still doing up" i asked
"i dont know man i just couldnt fall asleep i guess, why are you up" he replied
"just gotta lot on my mind" i replied
"anything ya wanna talk about im here for you bro" he asked
"jack i like emily. i dont know what to do" i blurtted out. he was the first person i told and i didnt know if i felt better or worse by telling him
"sammy man to man i think you just gotta let it go because youre too close with cameron to let a girl get in the way of it and were gunna be here all summer so why make things awkward" he said. i knew it was true but it felt good to hear it from someone else
"i know youre right, thanks dude, im going back to sleep you should get some sleep too, its gunna be a long summer if you just dont sleep" i said jokingly
with that i walked up stairs and fell asleep
----sorry this was such a short chapter i didnt want to get into the next thing and make it too long so i figured a shorter chapter would be better. stay tuned i have big plans for alot of the characters :)
