Chapter 25

~Luna's POV~

Before Felix won his duel

I followed Izzy & her uncle as they drove off away from her house. The one thing Izzy said about not wanting to ruin this man's life even if he has been ruining her's for years is something I'm not going to accept. Izzy has good intention for the wrong people & that's why I'm helping her. I haven't had the same experience as her, but us girls have to stick together like sisters. Who run the world? Girls! That's what every girl/women should live by.

I've been following them for about 10 minutes now. I had no clue as to where they going. We passed through the city to enter the beach area which makes sense since that's where they were going to continue the family reunion, but her family hasn't started heading there yet because the truck was slowly being loaded. If I remember correctly Izzy said she was supposed to go to the store with her uncle to get more steaks. Did Izzy just lie to me? I really hate that I can't see in her car, anything could be happening.

They went to the far side of the beach that was basically secluded from everyone else that was camping. I had to slow down my car to not make it obvious that I was following them, the car in front of me turned their blinker on indicating that they were going towards the left. Literally, no one was parked there & no one was camping or beach goers. "I'm gonna have to park." My car actually turned to the right to continue down the road for me to park inside the forest facing the beach.

Once I parked Izzy got out with the guy looking around to see if anyone was watch & I had to duck my head just in case she could see me. Izzy did notice my car when I went to her house. When I peeked I saw the both of them talking, but the guy was feeling Izzy's right arm. She was really looking uncomfortable. I really wish I could get out of my car to steal her away from this situation to drive her as far away from him as possible.

For some reason I was scared. I'm a freaking Power Ranger for crying out loud. Wait...? I'm a Power Ranger. That right! Maybe I could Morph then save her from this guy, that sounds like the safest option instead of me trying to take her away. It'll also give me an excuse to fight him off if it was at all necessary as a harms way situation. Stepping out of my car I pulled out my second Morpher that I obtained about to run across the street until someone pulled me back. I turned around almost kicking Ikaika?

"Ssshhh..." Ikaika put a finger on my lips telling me to shush as he turned around to watch the situation with Izzy. This was honestly so random. Why is Ikaika even out here? His clothes didn't tell me he was out for a run or anything like that. "What the hell? Why're you here?" Our eyes were kept on those to as I spoke to him. My side showed him shrugging like it was nothing, I rolled my eyes. "Why the fuck do you care? All you guys care about is Myles." My natural instinct was to push him away when Ikaika was too close to me.

"I don't even know you dude."

"You know me longer than Myles. That says a lot about you Luna." I was caught a little off guard when Ikaika said my name because I didn't really think he actually knew my name. I don't remember meeting him either. "I know you through association. That's less than what I know about Myles you dumbass, now stop standing so close to me." I elbowed his side as he clutched it like he got the wind knocked out of him. Ikaika swore at me with whatever air left he had left to breathe. Now he knows how to come close to me, I do have a boyfriend after all.

Izzy & her uncle were on the move through the trees that growing out of the beach sand. Before I could take a step Ikaika grabbed me again. "Wait...I'm coming too. I was taking a random walk at this beach, but we have to save her." Ikaika & Izzy were best friends, right? Or should I say are. Izzy probably told Ikaika first, yet he didn't do anything about this in the first place. Whatever though. What really counts is now. Ikaika & I looked both ways before we ran across the street to where Izzy was.
