~Myles' POV~
"How many times do I have to say that I already talked to Izzy to make you believe me?" Felix caught me walking to the Hawaiian Studies classroom at lunch so he decided to follow me. He already tried to talk to me this morning & when he told me I obviously didn't believe him. I still don't know what his deal is with girl, but fighting her really isn't the way to go. That's what he did with me too.
"I'm telling you Myles. Izzy isn't our Green Ranger & you're gonna have to trust me on this." I sighed once we were right outside of the classroom I'm supposed to be in. Felix was looking me in the eyes hoping that I'd finally believe him. "Myles, I was hoping I'd find you. Do you by any chance wanna go to the library after school to work on the project?" It was Kalani who called out to me. She's the girl in my Marine Bio class, we're in a group project together with, dear I say, Ikaika. Haven't seen him in awhile.
"Sounds good. Maybe I could get more studying there as well." Kalani showed us a small smile before some of her belongings fell out of her bag so Felix & I helped her out, but as this was happening the both of them looked at each other when their hands touched the same textbook. "This is hella weird. I know I haven't seen you before, but I've strangely heard you before." She swiped the textbook from his hand then quickly took the books I had in my hands. Kalani's cheeks were a little flushed.
"W-Well, I'm the shy girl at the back of the class that no one notices. We have Marine Bio together. Also, we were in the same choir class in freshmen & sophomore year. You've 100% heard my voice before today." Kalani was soft spoken when talking to Felix as she organized her backpack of big books. I'm not surprised that Felix messed up once again. I just wonder how he gets out of these situations.
"I'm so sorry, I think I remember you. You're Kaley, right?" My I had to facepalm myself. Felix was so close yet so far, how do you miss so hard? "Hey, Kalani. How's your mom doing?" Luna came to join in on this conversation when she gave Kalani a big hug. I asked Luna if she could help me out with studying Hawaiian History since Felix has some issues he has to deal with. I'm not mad at him, I just want him to make up with Izzy.
"I'm doing good Luna. My mom is doing great, she made made these earrings out of charms that you would use to make bracelets & they're honestly the cutest thing ever." She's the shy girl that sits at the back of the class? With that interaction it's kind of hard to believe. Maybe they met in elementary school or something. I put a hand on Felix's shoulder who also had his jaw dropped. "Good job Felix. Can't say I'm surprised though." I ruffled his curls.
"Look, I'm not mad or pissed off. Nothing like that, but just go apologize to her & maybe go look for the Turtle Folding Zord like you said you were going to do. Did you even start looking?" Felix shook his head, I'm pretty sure he's mentally kicking himself for forgetting. "But that first part Myles. Izzy isn't our Green Ranger so if you're gonna talk to her your self just try to be on the down low." Was the last thing before Felix left the 3 of us. How could she now be our Green Ranger, it just makes sense.
"I don't want Ikaika to fail this project. I'll invite him to come to the library with us. Now if you'll excuse me I have to study for a big test."
~///~
"No Myles, again! Queen Lili'uokalani was overthrown because..." After school Luna & I continued the study session at a little diner she recommended in Kihei. We were in the room where I was trying to recover when I was hooked to the ventilator. "I don't know? Captain cook wanted to be king on the land...?" I was really trying my best to get every question right, but my brain wasn't comprehending any information Luna was trying to give me. My brain is honestly fried.
