Chapter 21

~Felix's POV~

"It seems like you're just denying it. How do you know Izzy isn't the Green Ranger?" I facepalmed myself multiple times during this top. Luna has been asking me the same exact question for the pass 25 minutes, someone send help please. "Last time, I tried to talk to her about it & that only led her to tell me that she was going through some shit." My words were very articulate so she could understand my speech better. Luna hates it when someone has to dumb it down for her, but it's the only way.

She slapped me in the face. "Ow! What the actual fuck is that for?" I yelled at her once we were in front of Myles' house, she took a moment to admire it before Luna went back to furrowing her eyebrows at me. This is what I'm talking about. "Don't you ever talk to me like stupid. Do you understand me?" Her finger was waggling in my face as she scolded me for this. When I think back on this it might be a lot worse than my mom. Don't know why.

"Yes! Now, can we go inside. Izzy is in there with Myles & I'm not sure what they're doing in there. If they're not talking to each other then something is really wrong. I want to help them both, I'm pretty you'd wanna help Izzy out as well."

"Izzy is in there? I though you hated her to the point where you didn't even care for her." This was the third time someone has asked me tonight. I probably should've expected this answer. This is the part where her yes, but I'm not a dick, but I don't want to explain that again. "Just go." There was a sigh of relief when she reluctantly went inside as I was pushing from behind. When we got inside we saw Myles & Izzy crying together eating ice cream on the couch with a blanket wrapped around them.

"I guess this is one way of making progress? I'm sorry, I don't know what I'm looking at because this is happened when I walked in with Izzy." The TV was playing an anime where it was the protagonists fault for saving the younger brother & now they will try to avenge their brother by putting the rapist in a jail cell. I've heard of this anime before. Who comes up with this shit? It's both of their trauma rolled up into this character, how oddly specific. I grabbed the remote to turn off the TV, they both sobbed as they took a bite of ice cream.

"Myles, I've been looking for you everywhere. I came to give you this-" I pulled Luna to the side. "You said you wanted me to show you bathroom, right? Well, it's down this hall." Luna punched my arm once I stopped dragging her. First a slap now a punch, I love being abused in every way possible. "I already told you that Izzy's not our Green Ranger. Can the both of you stop exposing us?" She rolled her at me while Luna shoved Myles' Morpher back into her bag. This is too much effort I'm putting in.

"Would I lie about something like this? Have I lied to you ever?" Luna crosses her arms over her chest trying not to look at my face because she doesn't want to admit that I'm right. She absolutely hates it when she's wrong so when you get a win on Luna you really feel accomplished. I'm also an honest guy when it isn't something major like this. I apologize to Myles' dad for I have sinned. "No..." Luna said in a quiet tone. I have one win today. My phone started ringing & I cursed under my breath.

"Where are you baby? I though you were on your way home. The Amazing Race is about to play in about an hour if you want to watch it together. I know I haven't been around much since the promotion, but mommy is doing her best to keep a roof over our head." My phone was put on speaker & the entire time Luna's hand was over her heart as my mom said those words to me. These are words she almost never says to me. I had to cringe just a bit, but I felt the sentimental value.

"I know mom & I appreciate you working so hard when dad left all the way up to now. Thank you so mom. I'm actually at Myles' house at the moment, I should be on my way in about 5 minutes." I said before hanging up the phone. Luna's heart was touched with the major feels & I just had to facepalm myself while shaking my head. "I have to leave soon so you need to show some support to the both of them. Be patient." I was about to walk back to the living room, but Luna yanked my arm back.
