During the past week I been working on eating. After I left the doctors they call and told me my iron was low so I had to eat more meats, they told me I had anemia which is when your blood doesn't have enough healthy red blood cells to carry oxygen to your tissues and to your baby.
your body produces more blood to support the growth of your baby. If you're not getting enough iron or certain other nutrients, your body might not be able to produce the amount of red blood cells it needs to make this additional blood.
But thank god they told me that it was a conman during pregnancy's. There were treatments for it anyway, they gave me a list of dairy products to eat and meats and other shit.
I walked downstairs to the fridge before grabbing a yogurt and banana.
I opened my banana before dipping it in my yogurt.
I sighed walking up the stairs.
"I miss my baby." I said to my self walking into his room.
I had to get ready so I could go see Demario for the first time. I didn't see him while I was in the hospital because I was scared.
Catching my breath I grabbed a pair of sweatpants and one of his shirts.
Incoming call from Jamari🙄🤍
"Hello" I said once the call connected.
"Are you ready? I'm outside." He asked as I grabbed my purse.
"I'm coming." I said before hanging up.
I walked downstairs before throwing my empty yogurt in the trash.
"You good." Mari asked once I got in the car.
I sighed before nodding.
"I'm just a lil nervous." I bit my lip rubbing my stomach.
"You gone be straight, just don't stress yaself about it." He said as I nodded.
15 minutes later
We got out of the car and began to walk into the hospital.
"Hi what room is Demario Smith in?" I asked the woman behind the desk. She stared at me for a few seconds making me scrunch my eyebrows.
"Girl." I said impatiently before she rolled her eyes.
"He's in 210." She said as I mugged her.
"I don't know who the fuck she think she is but she better rethink her thinking." I mumbled walking away.
"I'm finna go scoop Nia." Jamari said as we stopped in front of Demarios door.
"Ok." I nodded before hugging him.
"Keep ya head up sis, u gone be good Ight?" He said rubbing my back as I nodded.
"Ight let me know when u want me to come get u." He said.
"Alright." I said before he left. Once we was out of sight I began to get nervous.
