Oct. 10 - "Betrayal"

Prompt: Betrayal

Pairing: DabiHawks

TW: angst, hurt character, anger, talk of child abuse, kind of fluff? Hospital, Dadzawa!

When Dabi first told Hawks he was, quote, "Going to beat Endeavors ass," Hawks didn't think it would end this way.

He's standing on the sidelines as the fight between orange and blue continues.

He can make out Endeavor, standing proud and strong, not a cut on him except for the few burn marks here and there that look hella painful.

And then there's Dabi, who's wobbling with a sick grin on his face.

"Why do you keep trying, villain? You're not going to win."

Dabi scoffs, or is he choking?

"Can't even remember my villain name, much less my real one."

Endeavor heads in for another attack, arms ready for the fire.

"And how should I know what that is?"

Hawks observe, wondering if this is it if Dabi's going to spit the name Touya if he's going to lose this fight.

No.

Hawks- no, Keigo would make sure Touya didn't lose this fight. 

The winged hero can't standstill. The police are yelling at people, forcing them to stand at a safe distance away. Sirens can be heard, desperately trying to calm the raging flames. This is probably on the news right now.

He wonders now Shouto feels about this.

Dabi goes to dodge the attack from his father, though his movements aren't fast enough.

Endeavor hits a flaming fist right into Dabi's torso.

Dabi's body falls back, rolling on the hard concrete. Hawks cringes as he watches more staples fly off the villain.

He's losing his flame.

He's on the ground now fighting to stand as Endeavor keeps on pushing him. He's throwing fists, and Dabi's eyes are closing rather quickly.

"You going to tell me your real name, Dabi?" He spits, but Hawks can't feel himself anymore.

His idol is beating up his boyfriend.

What the actual fuck?

The one hero he wanted to be like, what a piece of crap.

This man is no hero.

Hawks' body moves on its own; he swoops in, catching Dabi's falling body. The red wings he's known for flutter around the males, shielding them from Endeavor.

Keigo doesn't care what the news or HC will say anymore.

He's not their toy.

"K-Keigo?" Dabi whispers faintly. His chest is pressed against Hawks.

"Yeah, it's going to be okay, Touya. After we tell the world what shit Endeavor has done, we'll take you to a real hospital, and get a penthouse as you wanted, okay? Just hang on for a while."

Touya nods softly.

"I-i'd like t-that."

Keigo nods, brushing some hair out of Dabi- no, Touya's face.

"Hawks? What are you doing protective a villain?"

Keigo scoffs, eyes narrowing.

"Listen to me, Touya. Keep your eyes open. Hopefully, soon, a hero, Eraserhead, remember him? He's going to come to get you and bring you to U.A's private hospital."
